I've been buying products with Evolving Skies in them. Especially since the pack prices are going up.
2 items on the Pokémon Center still have evolving skies. All 3 divergent powers tins have 2 packs plus 2 Astral and 1 brilliant. Also the larger Espeon V Heroes tin has 1 EVO pack.

My days collecting are winding down as SwSh gets harder to find. Something about SV is off putting to me. Looking forward to gen10 to pull me back.
Did you play the games? I felt the same as you until I played scarlet and the dlc, and then I had a renewed interest in the S&V cards. I just got a temporal forces ETB and had a blast opening it and I didn't even get any crazy hits
Yea, I'm just not feeling the new Gen pokemon, which makes the S&V era cards mostly just not appealing
@@magnificcenTCG it’s not the Pokémon, I actually think this is one of the best generations as far as designs go. I really couldn’t pick one that I absolutely hated.
@@nicklinn5731 so what do you find off putting with the S&V cards then? I actually like the grey borders, just not everything else.
@@magnificcenTCG several things, sets are getting bigger and harder to collect, the full art cards are a bit overdone now, the quality continues to be abhorrent, and I’ve found other tcgs, like Weiss Schwarz which have beautiful foiling effects. I know this is gonna catch crap, but I’d love to see serialized cards too. There’s also just no consistency with hit rates either, let’s not just go with the Japanese borders, we need to go with the smaller booster boxes with guaranteed hit rates.

Charizard UPCs are great pick-ups, especially with the awesome contents inside. Heavily printed as mentioned, but stock will eventually dry up. I also believe that Japanese 151 will be worth a good amount of $$ in years to come. Can't go wrong with gen 1. Just saiyan.🤷♂️
As for Whatnot...it is a cesspool full of scammers. You should not be doing business on Whatnot.

Im so glad I just ordered a bunch of sword and shield sets, it was the first game I played on my switch haha so it holds a dear place in my heart
I also bought some pokeball tins. I know there is evolving skies, chilling reign, and fusion strike. Debating on keeping pokeballs sealed or opening and keeping packs sealed. 🤔

had to choose between bs and lo booster box this month. i chose lo because whilst its not as old as bs it has performed better.

I think everyone forgets that the pull rate on UPC's is abysmal, I have seen enough openings (my own included) to see that they nerfed the hell out of them. Definitely would not recommend opening, the cost/value proposition just isn't there

Would it be worth getting a few sealed evolving skies packs graded that I got from pokeball tins? 🤔
Packs tend to get smooshed in those round tins so they might not be great contenders for grading

The packs inside are really solid. Evolving Skies, Lost Origin, Astral radiance, Brilliant Stars too. So if you've never open it, its a worth the experience.
Open it, not the worst gamble if you are not satisfied with the pulls, just buy another upc while they’re below retail.

The charizard ultra premium collection should appreciate well, good place selection. Everyone wants anything with evolving skies in it too.
It's heavily over printed but the content inside from the promos to pack spread is absolutely great
@@TwicebakedJake Do you have any info on the charizard UPC's booster pack contents - I read a bit that said that a certain or recent-er print run of the UPC did not contain the known Evo/FS/etc packs, but instead a spread of modern boosters?
i dont believe in sealed case collecting, i would rather get 6 booster boxes than this brown ass box
I don't really get people hyping japanese cards over english. Except lower population outside Japan and slightly better quality it's very similar. But then one glance on a boxes behind author and it's simple answer why ;) if I would have own so many JP boxes I've talking only pros about them 😂 beside market slows down on Pokemon cards, I can see people are starting playing Lorcana or SW Ultimate instead of cracking empty Pokemon boosters with penny cards 😂

Yikes. I think your analysis is flawed. I would argue the two year time period is an arbitrary number that means quite little. The triggering event that is causing these products to rise are the actual facts that we see with our own eyes that indicate scarcity. For instance, selling out on the PC, the prices rising on EBay and TCG Player, the lack of listings, you literally can’t find some of these to buy at a fair price. I think this is what drives price. Not the calendar
I never bought a booster box. i think they are the worst bet for your money.
I buy at least two booster box of every set to keep sealed. They’ve all gone up and I’m glad I kept my evolving skies sealed. I have all of SWSH and it felt great to have completed it.
I only like buying booster boxes. Every set From Brilliant stars to Temporal forces have just about guaranteed hit rates. Now Sun & Moon or early Sword & Shield have horrible hit rates and no guarantees so yes, these are not good buys to open

I think fusion strike is gona jump even higher just like evolving skies in the next year or two, I feel like we didn’t appreciate these sets as much until s and v era came along and now we’re reminiscing,l on how good they were ! Love the channel bro been watching since I got back into Pokémon when shining fates released, nearly have a full set that charizard has still eluded me tho ha
The Gengar vmax has jumped a ton in the past few weeks. I wouldn't be surprised if it rivals the umbreon
