  • Despite the weather, wind, rain and sun and also camera problems it all turned out ok. More Links, details and recipe below:
    Basic no-knead, no-worry bread
    500gms Strong/Bread Flour
    1/2 tsp Salt
    300 ml ish of Cold Water
    7 to 10 gms of Dried Yeast
    Mix Ingredients in a plastic bag
    Place in the Dutch Oven to rise over many hours, overnight is good.
    Turn out, shape, let prove for say an hour.
    Cook over good embers for say 20mins.
    Then place more on top for around 30 mins to say 45 mins
    My personal preference is a much darker crust and slightly more risen.
    But the flavour was great!
