The Nissan Skyline R34 GTR V-Spec is a car of legendary status. I had the amazing opportunity to drive one the first time a few months ago thanks to my friend Brad out in Utah. His was a single turbo R34 GTR V spec, while Adam LZ's has a very different approach. This twin turbocharged monster makes 650HP to all four wheels, and it is irresistible not to smile when you hit the fun pedal. So with the twin turbo setup is the R34 still as legendary as I remember? Let's go for a drive and talk about it!

@@PNWSV ... Clearly. Thats not how i meant it. You can design something thats already been "blue printed" and manufactured by a company/person for it to be your own. He may of only put the cash out but he picked every single part that went on to that car regardless if he did it or his builder. If i had the money these guys did i would just get someone to build it for me to. Building a car isnt as amazing as people make it. Alot of time and effort goes into it that goes on behind the scenes. Sleepless nights and endless problems. Some people build cars and others just pay to have them done for them

One more cool thing about the car is that it's the first car with a vibrant 4" muffler.. They custom made it for Adam, and then ended up putting it into production after making his.

hands down the biggest thing that makes adam's R34 stand out is that V cam setup
this makes more difference in response than single vs twins. V cam is must have for modern rb26 build
It's kinda funny how David has only driven 2 R34 GTR's in his life and both are very modified and rare editions haha, such a cool experience! LZ's R34 GTR is so damn gorgeous! 😁

Adam's team absolutely killed it with this car. the car is perfection. majority of the people here have a gtr down as a dream car. me personally it's a 32 and i love Adam's moredoor drift 32 but this car is on another level. a level all on it's own. his white chaser is a beauty too, great review!

" The power it´s so usefull", that is what everyone should keep in mind when they build their cars and stop spending money unnecessarily for those 1000hp cars that you can only enjoy for 5min.
Yep this thing is perfect. 500-650hp with nice linear delivery is all you need. If you're not drag racing this is what you need for the street

LZ’s 34 is one of the best 34 builds worldwide (without being over 1000HP).
Adam builds some amazing, stupidly clean cars. The parts selection and attention to detail is second to none. From cream to this, you couldn’t find a better Nissan stable in the states.
Maybe Tommy’s as well, but he’s a COP so it doesn’t count
His r34 is probably one of the best in the Americas. In my opinion. If I could afford one it’s exactly how I’d want to be able to build it at least 😂!
Is that an HKS V-cam system I see? I bet that's what helps it build usable power plus the twins.

It sounds really similar to Smokey Nagata's RB powered Supra from 20+ years ago. Smooth but very angry, love it.

I would imagine twin turbos being similar to a variable twin scroll turbo, but next level. Watching this video does not give the impression of a high horsepower turbo GTR. There is no boost lag that gives the viewer the typical turbo car power rush. Adam has a true gem!

One of the top 5 r34 builds I've ever seen. Pretty much a brand new car. Every bolt, bushing, suspension part, engine, etc refreshed, crazy and im very jealous.

I love this combo of AWD, the different rear gearing, aggressive cam and dual T’s! The energy has got to be amazing!!
I think my favorite part of this car is the way that the turbos sound when spooling and transferring into boost. They have a howl to them and then mix into more of a buzzing sound rather than a ssssssshhh sound you get with singles.
This thing is easily my favorite car out of Adam's fleet. Not just because it's an R34, but because of how well put together it is, how "OEM+" it is, and how epic it sounds when driving. This is how an RB is supposed to be built! It's so good.
Its the best one honestly just all around perfection
and you didnt even flatshift it! Maybe this was recorded before adam dialed it in, but it makes this thing a whole other beast. Such a cool freakin car man!
I absolutely love this car!! It makes all the right noises. When I think of an R34 GT-R this is it! From the looks to the sounds it’s absolutely perfect in my opinion!! I love it!! Your a lucky man for Adam to be letting you drive it!!
I like that adam doesnt want to set the world on fire and build a 7 second street car and ruin what it was designed to be. Hes more than capable of it but just building the most well rounded version of one of his dream cars is awesome

I’d do anything to experience that fr. Dream car, shits beautiful. Remember watching fast and furious over and over when it came out as a kid. Supra was always fire but loved the skyline’s sound and look just a little bit more. One time When I got this fye carmax job the first day they asked me if I could have any car what would I get and I said “Nissan Skyline R34 GTR”. They was like oh okay he’s not gonna have any issues naming each vehicle here😭💀
The tape over the VIN tells me this one of the R34s that has been blacklisted from being titled in the US.

I’m a huge TV2 fan but this is my favorite LX0, everything done the way I would do it if I had the money. I mean JW0 is beautiful as well but unrealistic unless you repaint. Something about TV2 that just gets me but LZs LXO R34 is just perfect.
Considering its TT it sounds very much like RB should. Usually its the T setup that has that sort of scream.

He also had a flat foot shift with it. You should have let him show you it. But Adam's car truly has that godly sound. I've watched his street shake downs with that car over 20 times.
Yeah the tide with TJ and flat foot shifting was nuts.

Having heard an R32 GT-R with a Tomei muffler and a mean ass cam lope, I get it. The way a hopped up RB sounds is indescribable. I heard it from a block away and still felt it in my chest.
When I saw the first video of the single turbo R34 I thought it was this one and I was smiling but then I realised it wasn't and I'm so glad you're doing this one now
3:49 If you like pops and bangs, then this is how you do it. None of that over the top raspberry pops, just straight tuned to be fast and as a result of that, this backfire is what you get. Adam is cultured. And curse the crack pop tunes.

R34 is the one to have. Its when a car manufacturer builds the best most epic car and their models to follow just aint the same any more although the R35 and the new R36 are great cars too.
When comparing the sounds and character of the single and twin turbo in this video it sounds like the single turbo would break something at any second whereas Adam's car sounds so refined and balanced.

The R34 GT-R is my absolute favorite JDM car. The allure of it being "forbidden fruit" even if it becomes legal to import and drive them will remain, because the asking prices and the possibilities of mods that can be made makes them practically unattainable for the average person. Even die-hard fans are having difficulty getting one to their liking.
A driving session on any GT-R would be a dream come true for me.
