穴あきバケツを被って遊ぶのが、お気に入りです。

As you can see in the video, by this point they removed the wires themselves so there is no charge at all. Also, they were never “high voltage,” merely a mild shock to discourage previous cubs from getting too close to the edge of the pool. They caused absolutely no permanent damage and were only an unpleasant surprise to condition the cubs. As far as I know, there is no longer any such deterrents used in the polar bear habitats. If Lila ever has cubs, I don’t think they will need them in their large, naturalistic habitat.
