MLB (and everybody for that matter) knows that PEDs saved baseball in the late 90s. Then they threw these players under the bus once MLB didnt need them anymore. Put them all in the HOF for their service to the sport. And while we're at it, put Pete Rose in too.
There’s no debate. He is one of the best players in history. The fact that baseball writers get to decide who goes into the Hall of Fame is ridiculous. Change the voting. Everybody who watches baseball knows he is one of the most “famous” players ever. It’s the Hall of “Fame” ! Stop the stupidity.
So many scrubs in the hall of Fame and A-rod, Clemens and Bonds aren't in? The voters think their saving the legacy of the hall of Fame by leaving these guys out, but what they're really doing is making the baseball hall of Fame a joke.
HOF became a joke after David Ortiz made it in....they have this faux outrage about cheating with roids, but then the 2017 Astros who cheated in a MONUMENTAL way still have the trophy and no player punishment and add to that the likes of Clemens and Bonds or how about Pete Rose? total popularity contest w/ absolutely no integrity...way to keep out some of the BEST players of all time....BS
He's getting in
I don’t blame him for using PED’s. He grew up poor, knew the rest of the league was using them, wanted to live up to his contract and to the rest of the league using. Just like so many poor Dominican players take PED’s to give them a greater advantage of being a success and getting out of poverty
This whole thing is so stupid. Barry Bonds was a 1st ballot Hall of Fame baseball player. Roger Clemens was a 1st ballot Hall of Fame baseball player. Curt Schilling was a 1st ballot Hall of Fame baseball player. Alex Rodriguez was a 1st ballot Hall of Fame baseball player.
You cannot tell the story of baseball without mentioning those guys.
Put Em in nthe hall fame with a separate hall for that era put all players in there suspicious or not and explain what happened its a piece of history like or not
Decline!!!!!
I doubt there’s any player in the MLB, who doesn’t know who Babe Ruth and Mickey Mantle, are!!!
More like hall of shame. Got caught cheating multiple times come on.
There's no case to make...he's either gonna win the popularity contest or not...joke Bagwell, piazza, and Ortiz seemed to get a pass
The once the generation of old school voters are no longer around I can see some of the great players involved with PEDs getting consideration. But as long as you have the geezers around there's no chance A Rod gets in.
PUT A-ROD IN THE HALL OF FAME
If T.O ain’t in the football HOF then ARod should NOT be in the baseball HOF
To is in the HoF guy
@@FGPlus lol I stand corrected
@@worldwidereek he just didn't have a ceremony like the others he held a private one
It's sad that a writer someone who sits at a desk with a pen holds your Cooperstown enshrinement in there hands
No Bonds then no Arod
So they let David Ortiz in but no A-Rod?
My 🐐
Of course he is a hall of famer and if u don’t think so you don’t know baseball. Steroids or not the man is easily one of the greatest players ever and these clowns that don’t vote for him need to have their vote confiscated.
He's first ballot for sure, but if Barry Bonds didn't get in....
Would have, should have , could have..... been in the HOF. but he was a pos liar cheater and its no soup for you.
He belongs. He was a complete a-hole and ego maniac but he was also one of the greatest ball players of all time. Someday they have to put him in with Bands and Clemens
No he took steroids and lied about it said how dare MLB and people accuse him of that then got caught cause he had been doing it for awhile years did yall forget that so cheating is apparently ok now
THANK YOU!!!!!
BUT RACISM IS NOT CHEATING… BABE RUTH DIDNT COMPETE WITH JOSH GIBSON! BABE RUTH DIDNT PLAY AGAINST DOMINICANS … YOU KNOW WHY? CUZ OF THE COLOR OF THEIR SKIN… WAY WORST THAT ANY DRUG OR PED
@@mrsmith3869 I understand what you're saying about babe Ruth only playing against white folks. I would use that argument when people say he's the goat because of what you just said me personally I don't have him as the goat I think it's Willie Mays BUT the greatest I've SEEN before injuries would have to be Ken Griffey Jr it would have been Barry bonds before ped's and that's based on their skills not skin color or background. I would love to hear about babe going against Satchel Paige, man what. I'm just trying to connect that (racism part) with someone that has cheated using ped's.
If bonds and Clemens didn’t get in he’s not getting in
WHEN U PUT ONE STEROID USER IN THE HALL OF FAME THEN U HAVE TO PUT THE REST IN. AMERICAN KIDS ARE BEING TAUGHT U CAN CHEAT TO GET TO THE TOP, I WILL NEVER VISIT THE HALL NOW THAT PLAYERS THAT CHEATED ARE IN. THE PEOPLE WHO VOTED TO ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN SHOULD BE FIRED.
A Rod is the goat.
Alex deserves to get in !!!!
Sure I geuss
A-Fraud should 100% not get in. Bonds & Clemens both didn't, what makes him any different? Anyone that ADMITS to cheating, should be automatically disqualified, period.
If Bonds can't get in why Should a roid get in. They deserve it nonetheless
A-Roid? Uhhh, No.
If you juiced, you don't get in.
8:10 There are baseball players that don’t know who Babe Ruth is? What is this guy smoking?
Maybe there should be a separate HOF for the roiders lol it would be a disgrace to continue to allow cheaters like this, the privilege of making it to the hall of fame.
Baseball players no pride in their own game, no respect for the game or the fans.
MLB the same as above
🐐
Hof for sure.
Imo A-roid did it to himself by doing steroids. He was a hof already but not now, same with Palmeiro, Clemens, McGuire and Bonds. Doesn't matter how good they were, the difference is they screwed their own destiny up...Period the end.
Pete Rose was a hof as well and I would like to see him enshrined but guess what, not happening.
They just can’t accept that us Dominicans are the best at baseball 🤷🏽♂️ as simple as that, we should have a couple more HOF including ofc Alex.
Decline all steroid cheats. Ban them from baseball for life.
I bet some of these writers have some deep demons in their closet. I dunno, baseball bred this culture and then punished the players for it afterwards. Greasy in my opinion. Makes it hard for me to respect the MLB
Si no estarán en el salón de la fama por usar sustancias que antes no eran prohibidas entonces que de interesante tienen los que están incluidos que tienen números que s no se acercan
Dude really should've been the best player of all time
Big Papi got in and he failed a drug test just putting that out there
Arod was a much bigger steroid user than even bonds
ENSHRINE!!!!!!
So Ortiz makes hof but arod doesn't wild
If bonds and arod not in then the hof is fugazy
They only put good players in the Hall of fame like Pedro and Ortiz. lol Hi Yankee fans👋
no......no one likes a rod.....way he handled steroids and mess he got involved with....just a real chump
DECLINE
600 homers/ 3000 hits… nothing to see here ! Hes a hall of famer!!! BABE RUTH DIDNT PLAY WITH BLACK OR LATINO PLAYERS AND HE IS IN THE HALL OF FAME!!! WHATS THE PROBLEM???
*
Never! Not a chance!
