as a person who used to play arcaea before discovering pjsk, I decided to go back and play it for a bit, and now I can’t even full combo a 3 difficulty
I try to make 2 finger friendly charts that look fun to play, I couldn't make an overcharted chart even if I wanted to since I'm not good at making hard charts
The chart is just right and fitting for an 11 difficulty!! Some of the parts kinda reminds me of fracture ray and tempestissimo but overall this is an excellent chart
I used to stick with this game for a little while before switching to prsk and all the time playing i only played on present and past, i cannot imagine how yall are able to hit the sky notes and floor notes and once jesus christ
I've been trying to play along with this map and at around 1:00 I would accidentally play the blue arc with my right thumb, and then realize that's actually easier than if I played it with my left thumb. Just something to note.
Actually, there are a few other sections where it's easier to play the other thumb than the intended thumb. I understand the intention of the charting, but if you don't account for ways to "cheese" the charting, people aren't going to play it your way and they're going to play whatever way is the easiest.
@@danielyuan9862 That part isn't supposed to be particularly difficult, even if you wronghanded you would still need to crosshand once for each arc, as a charter I am aware of methods of execution when designing patterns but it's impractical to try to make a chart completely cheese proof as the possibility of certain patterns being cheese-able is naturally a part of any rhythm game and in my opinion chart design takes priority over difficulty.

Well you’re not wrong, it’s not a solid 11 but I rated it 11.0 because the first half of the chart is not quite up there in difficulty but at the same time there’s the difficulty spike in the second half, so it’s kinda borderline
if you played the game for the first time, it looks unbelievable to the point you having doubts whether its clearable or not. (also my reaction back then when someone already MAX-BPM Tempestissimo when it first came, literally insanity) But this chart is quite playable, I think lol.
The line on the top is the "sky input" which is basically an extension of the judgment line on the bottom which let's you get a better visual on the timing for sky notes and arcs (the pink and blue things), sky notes can appear anywhere on the screen essentially since they're "sky" notes but they are the same as the taps on the floor. Arcs (the pink and blue things) basically function like sliders which you have to hold and follow.
I don't really know how to answer that question as I'm not an exceptional charter myself, personally I think my charts have structure and look at least somewhat visually satisfactory but I think that they always fail to reach the target difficulty
???? This is in no way harder than that atrocity, Arcaea and Sekai are two entirely different games, you shouldn't compare charts from two rhythm games without having a good understanding of the gameplay.

I'm not gonna lie as a rhythm gamer, project sekai is definitely not a hard rhythm game compared to most of the others.
To be fair, the Master 36s are quite damn hard so sekai isn’t really losing out to other games as far as difficulty goes
