What happened to the links in the description to reviews of a specific gun of the ones featured in the video? Is there a reason you don't put them there anymore?
Believe it or not, we had a segment in our Heavy Assault guide that went over all the rocket launchers in the game briefly that would be reminiscent of how we run it in this series, I would recommend checking that out mate :)
I'd like to add a few points having tried every carabines: 1: they are all good and fun to use so you should definetly try to auraxium them and get the fortuna 2: the AC-XII is workable in cqc if you have room to aim down sight but it should be treated as a battle rifle, slap a 2x and a compensator on this baby and find a elevated position to flank enemy from and you will rack kills like berries. 3: the GD-7F is the king of tower fights but should be treated as a shotgun, never over extend and if you see more than one enemy run, in 1v1 it's basically an upgrade over pump action shotguns, it was the fastest auraxium out of all i have but it does induce a suicide approach to bigger fights. 4: the razor can be devasteting in cqc with a 1x scope, it basically has no recoil so if you aim for the head there will be no kick to move your crosshair away from it, i wouldnt suggest a 2x on this simply because it would push a bit too far into a range in wich the damage dropoff will tamper the effectivness.
The AC-X11 amazingly fits my playstyle and have tons of fun with it. Its long range with 6x scope means i can pick off certain targets on the go as a Light Assault and at the same time its high damage helps me with enemies that come too close.
"MGR-C1 Charger" should share the same mechanic as MG-C1 Kindred, where you don't have to reload to keep the DPS efficiency Wish the developers would... react... There are many problems that keep new players away from the game, like Air Play inaccessability and lack of mouse control schemes, such has been ignored since game's release
There is a LOT of things the developers have on their plate right now but I do know that they are listening to oru feedback. Hopefully these things do get worked on over time :)
I still think you should have had a sound file resembling a choir of Angel's singing play when you introduced the ACX 11. That carbine is one of my all time favorite weapons in the game. Seriously it's one of the best carbines in Planetside 2 if not the best. IgoRawr loves the Pulsar C but for my certs, the ACX11 is just amazing. Anyway, good video overall. Now I am off to go watch a review of the ACX 11 till I get my computer back.
Excellent video as always. I was wondering if you could do a video on implant synergies. Just basic "these 2 implants together will help you if your trying to do this". Excluding exceptional like you said
Wait, it doesnt? I only recently(about a week ago) got the Gauss Compact S and the underbarrel grenade launcher, and at least in the VR room it seems to oneshot stuff if you hit them directly... Cant really accurately tell in real combat though, my aim is kinda crummy. Maybe you were using the Punisher SMG? The Grenade launcher on that is a bit weaker and cant oneshot, to compensate for its availability on all classes.
TR is overpop on genudine so I only play NC and VS. NC has a good variety of carbines. I feel like VS has the most accurate easy to use weapons in the game though. I mostly play NC but when I do play VS, hitting people seems way easier, by a good bit.
Would love to see more VS content, but when it comes to carbines you can probably just talk about the Pulsar C and then lump the rest into a forgettable category and end the vid :)
Don't make the mistake of sleeping on the horizon. Put that double shot attachment on and aim for headshots to take down heavies as light assault. Plus iirc it doesn't have damage drop (I've been without internet for a few weeks) while still having a decent velocity, so it remains effective at deceptively long range
You can get everything in this game for free, besides cosmetics. It just takes some time, but leveling and winning alerts helps the most for new players.
Not TR LMGs and doesnt have the clip of me, as an LA, landing on someone and stabbing them and you instantly Tking me. Gotta vote for that one again so that you can play that clip.
Ah yes the carbines are very fine nothing better then taking our lovely poster child of the NC1 gauss and putting it in a smaller package for ease of carrying weight The mercenary is a lovely and many light assault and engineers praise it and even some of our vets keep it around The gauss compact is a lower performance but more customizable then the mercenary the boys at the engineering department had fun The bandit is super fast and for those who are like ninjas will find this perfectly at home The Ax 7 is pure new conglomerate Glory and feared and respected by our enemies to quote a prisoner “man as much as I hate you NC scum I must admit you do have an ace in fire power” The Gd-7f is well for those who are former TR will find this absolutely at home (we may have took some inspiration and stealing blueprints) The razor is a heavy carbine that is super light for it’s class and if you want to put lead down range go ahead and pick it up but former TR have complained about this The Charger is the newest and also funkiest development of the nc and well yeah boys you kinda fucked up with this
I personally love the Charger. It feels the most accurate and reliable for all ranges. The razor is good and all, but sometimes it fires all over the place
It does have a pretty aggressive COF bloom demanding some bursting for sure, I just can't find myself to like the Charger's lacking damage output sadly.
@@CAMIKAZE78 luckily I am pretty good at aiming fof the head! And I am one of those people that always reloads, so I usually get the amplified damage bonus aswell
Yeah i find the charger to be the best head laser but seriously can't get along with the lesser damage+smaller mag+ longer reload combo... Think a simple reduction in reload time to keep up the 167 DMG more is all it really needs
I kind of hate NC's carbine selection...heres the breakdown; Mercenary is by far the best allrounder, obviously. Gauss Compact S as a gun is worse than the Mercenary in nearly every way, sporting a lower rate of fire, worse vertical recoil (0.4 becomes 0.45), and a hilariously bad reload speed, all for the access of a compensator and the grenade launcher. Compensator counters the additional recoil, but the reload speed reduction was unnecessary especially considering how other factions select fire weapons did not have this nerf. So the only reason to take the Compact S is if you are at a far enough away position that the reload speed doesn't matter, or if you need it for the grenade launcher. The Razor is a great point to talk about here because if you are only taking the Compact S for its compensator, then the Razor is a better choice, as it has a baseline lower recoil and also an even faster than Mercenary reload speed, with the only sacrifice being rate of fire, and not even that much more than what the Compact S already gives up. Then there are the other options. AC-X11 either sounds amazing or it sounds horrible, and it is both. The extremely low rate of fire combined with the worse than normal hipfire means that even at short range distances you need to rely on your ability to do aimed combat. The lower ammo per mag also means that your muscle memory to reload just before 30 rounds spent will be incorrect, causing you to stop to reload at bad moments, and get stuck with the long reload penalty. The beauty of the system however is that all of these weaknesses sort of work eachother out. The low rate of fire means that the amount of time spent firing is 'closer' to that of similar weapons 30 rounds, so you can still work it out, and the whole design of the weapon encourages moderate ranges, meaning that the hipfire shouldn't be as much of a problem either. The real beastly part of this weapon is the 200 damage profile and what it truly entails. 200 damage doesn't actually mean much when talking about time to kill, as its only 1 less body shot and the same amount of headshots as 167...the real point of 200 damage is the distance at which the weapon keeps at 167 damage, which is 50 meters for this weapon, which means that it can do what a Mercenary claims to do at 10 meters, but for another 40 meters out, with the lower rate of fire to hopefully make it easier to sustain. Sorry to go so far of a tangent on this, but this weapon is a bit of a specialty. Then, theres the 'rest'....the Bandit is supposed to be a Carbine upgrade of the Cyclone, but it has none of the capabilities as the recoil is jacked up far too high for it to be consistently aimed with, has too long of a reload for its purpose, and doesnt even keep as much rate of fire as its originator. The GD-7F is...okay? I know its supposed to be a "meta" weapon, but its terrible recoil puts me off personally, and none of its effects make up for the fact that TR has weapons of similar capabilities but has 40 round mags. Fast firing 143 damage weapons for 30 rounds always makes me feel like I'm running out just a bit too early and its horrible reload speed exacerbates the issue. Gauss Burst is just the Mercenary but slower, as you are very unlikely to perfectly maintain the 600rpm the gun is expected to hold. Oh and the Charger...sucks that its the only MGR weapon of the bunch, as I really like their 1x and 2x sights. So your choices are, the Mercenary, for all normal 167/600 reasons, and then a choice of nerfing rate of fire for either the grenade launcher or lower recoil. The AC-X11 for high bullet damage at a great range, and the GD-7F for short range (while I personally hate it, I'll still count it as usable). With only 3 weapon sets the NC's carbines feel insanely boring. 167/~600, 200/500, or 143/645, (dmg/ROF) and thats IT. TR has an amazing selection of weapon damage and rate of fires (although, their damage and rate of fires don't always match the weapons intended ranges, making things awkward) and the VS has a slightly lower overall DPS for their weapons but their selections have more benefits causing them to have more pronounced effects at all ranges (except the Pulsar C, which is a Gauss Compact S but with much less recoil or reload time, making it on on par with the Mercenary).
I disagree with the Compact S. It's pretty clear what you're getting in for when you get it. You sacrifice raw 1v1 in exchange for more tools at your disposal. I tend to put it on 3 round burst, and use a smoke launcher and NV optics as an engineer. Yeah I'm going to have a disadvantage in a lot of 1v1 fights, but if I'm running with a squad the never ending smoke supply combined with NV teamwork crushes. Likewise when it comes to trying to break a strong enemy hold point 4 engineers working together showing up with grenade launches makes quick work, especially those pesky maxes who can be repaired out of steady bullet fire, but a whole lot of burst coming all at once, and explosions denying engineer support cleans rooms. It's a support weapon, plain and simple. It's like trying to use a multi tool knife as a fighting knife. It's terrible, short, and clumsy, but if your rifle needs a repair in the field, having a knife with a plier and screwdriver attached will be a hell of a lot more useful.
the charger is dog shit. When primed it follows a 167 damage model, after the 6-7 shots, it drops to 143. WHY would I want a weapon that swaps from a standard NC damage model to something that's found mostly on TR and VS? If anything I want the increased damage to be something like 200-250, then drop down to 167.
Give the rest of the community a break from NC weapons reviews. I would like to see TR LMGs - there are so many outdated weapon reviews online, particularly for the mini chain gun.
Dont let GD-7F fool you. It just dont kill people, the damage is so low. And ammo is not existent for it. You can reliably kill only 1 target before reload, when with mercenary i managed to kill 4 targets in 1 magazine easily. And also it is very hard to control, to the point where i considered forward grip over laser sight
@@electrofin515 debatable. it is good for certain cqc situations but in my opinion the ROF is actually TOO high (not saying its a bad thing) but you will find yourself reloading after each kill so can only really tackle 1 enemy at a time and only if they're close by. If not then you pretty much gotta pray.

So, when we getting NC Lmg's
I just noticed now that CAMICAZE called the AC-XII (XII in roman numerals is 12) the "AC-X eleven"instead of twelve. *wheezes I just noticed it LOL.
Wildcard a video about "Rocket Launchers!" (Because all the videos on Rocket Launchers are 4 to 7 years out of date "Please Help!")

Gauss Compact S. Picked it up at battle rank 10 and still using it at rank 68. So good 🥳
