Steeb thinking he's smarter than everyone in the room is a Raphael trait, not a Donatello one. Don is smart enough to not assume he's smarter than everyone.
Don's a team player. Raph has to be right all the time, even when other people suffer for it.
What I want to know is, what version of TMNT was Steeb watching where people didn't acknowledge Donnie's intelligence? He's practically the smartest character in the entire cast in every single incarnation.

Even before this argument I was watching the playthrough, observing Simmons diligently picking up all of the unlockable collectibles and thinking that's such a Donny trait while everyone else is spamming specials for kills.

Max = Leonardo because he was the founder of this crew. So mostly the leader.
Simmons = Basically Donny because Simmons lays the facts bluntly, he's always saying his opinion calmy unlike Steeb and Donny is basically the nerd of the group (Simmons plays all of the anime games).
Kenny = Mikey due to the fact he's laid back and the one causing some of the fun troubles in the groups on purpose, a real goofball.
Steeb = Of course Steeb is Raphael, he's aggressive and bullheaded. He's the first one to defend an opinion and his distaste in hokey tropes is what would upset Raphael. Also the idea of "I'm kicking all of this ass, so that someone else can pick you guys up." And the fact it makes alot of sense that one series of TMNT Raph was trying to usurped Leonardo's position as leader by being right and knowing tactics, only to get the team captured.

My family legit got pizza before we started playing, to honor the turtles tradition of eating pizza as a family before kicking some ass.

Also, Simmons definitley has better recall, memory and more consistent contextual cleverness than Steve. While that’s not a full measure of intelligence, it’s a really good early indicator lol

They changed the design of the Pizza Monsters as to not resemble Xenomorphs.
