i bought a refurbished ps4 a year ago and yesterday it had the black screen of death. It scared me lol i checked the HDMI cable it wasn't loose or anything i was like " What the Crap? " After that i booted the ps4 up it was just fine.

The way the fans sound I probably don’t need to tell you this no more because it’s been 6 years but if your fans sound like that a lot you might need more thermal paste
Nice video if I already Downloaded the PlayStation app and made a account I don’t need WiFi when starting it up right ? I can just sign to the account with my account Psn info cuz I don’t have internet we’re I’m at and don’t intend on playing or doing anything online
I've always bought refurbs of any electronic. as long as it is from a reputable company. At this point, though, PS4's are just as expensive as the PS5 due to the shortages. So I would say save your money until you can score a PS5. Unless you find a really good deal on one.
You didn’t want to buy the PS4 pro you can play 4k games but not 4k movies though and I’m just saying I had a standard PS4 but I gave that way to my nephew and got me a PS4 pro and it cost a lot of money if you buy it new I brought it on amazon for $477 and you can buy one for refurbished if it cheap but that only if you have a 4k and I want to buy Spider-Man some time it looks amazing especially in 4k and keep up the great work and you can add me if you want on PSN account my username is Jack Baker

I suggest you guys to not get this. It’s to risky to get . I just had one yesterday and brought it back today . I was opening my Spotify app and i seen an error message everytime i try to open it. I paid extra for warranty and one day shipping my total was 483.95$ just because no new were in stock. But don’t get it you can pre order a new black ps4 pro system this month i think it comes out on the 17th I believe just go to gamestop.com. But i just pre ordered spider ps4 pro 🕸🕷 But don’t get a refurbished or pre owned system you cannot trust it. Some are good but most are bad.

How much did you pay for the refurbished PS4?
At the time they were running a promotion after the Holidays. Plus I had some store credit. So it ended up around $110 for the PS4.

Thanks for the suggestion. I do not yet have a 4K tv. And likely by the time i do get one, the PS5 will likely be out.

David Trinidad 187 the legend king I heard the slim is quieter. But the ps4 is known for having a noisy fan.

It does. The fan is starting to get louder, Which is a known issue with the PS4.
