To do list: 1. Leave room on wall and add a flat screen with pivot mount. 2. Heavy duty rubber floor matting (easy to clean, makes it much easier to find dropped small parts). 3. Good work lighting. 4. Bicycle wall/floor security anchors (like Doddy’s). 5. Dedicated space and outlet for tea and/or coffee maker! The shop is looking brilliant! Keep doing what you do!
Muz Slingshot Stuff I’m not sure if you can see through the windows if your not in his garden. No one can see what is in but it would be a good idea for the door.
Doesn't matter how private your land is. After having bikes stolen through someone getting through a similar window setup I second the need to reinforce the windows before your soul gets ripped out.
Unfortunately with the internet it's not hard to find out where someone lives and I know of to many people that have had garages broken into. It's a sad world we live in these days but needs thinking about.
Haha! How cool to see my Bike Cave at the start of the video! Good start Blake! Looks like it's going to be awesome. Top tip...find somewhere to store a compressor in your setup. You'll never go back to those ancient manual pumps once you have one! Perhaps in the corner with the dead space? Just create a removable panel incase you need to get to it. Putting it in there will also keep the noise down!
Blake’s one cheerful and energetic lad, i always love his very own intro “welcome back you beautiful people”, gives a whole lot of positive energy. Cheers mate
Love that GMBN has the guys doing stuff at their homes. Very cool to see them outside the shed. Plus cool project. Great, got to add another project to my list
Blake, you are one weird and crazy dude and I love ya. So entertaining, great edit, and your content is always feels accessible. I know everyone's gonna say you'll need a mini beer fridge but the thought of you alcohol and tools fills me with dread. Stay safe you nutter and keep the vids coming, we need stuff like this right now.
Hi Blake!! we've been waiting for a bike cave of Blake Builds since you made your manual trainer and bike rack!! Looking forward to getting inspiration from your cave for our own garage build!!!
Man, I didn't what this video to end, Blake's energy is just amazing. I want to have Blake's energy and passion in everything I do. Just amazing. Keep it up Blake. All the best, from Brazil. You're a legend dude!
Ooh, and if the air compressor is going in the corner like another comment states, make sure compressor can be removed for servicing of the seals when the time comes.
Watching Blake's video of building a bike cave, while sipping a cold beer IN my bike shed if effing great! What would I like to see....... is f***ing episode 2 of this!
Little tip for long straight cuts , clamp a long ‘straight edge ‘ to the correct setback of your saw blade , makes life very easy .... or buy a rail saw 👍🏻 love you energy !!!
Peg board for the tools (beautifully organized) with a shelf above and recessed LED lights to make your tools look awesome and give some ambiance lighting!! Oh yeah!✌🏼🍻
Loving the build Blake but your not leaving much access to the corner unit on left hand side of the window, possible waste of space?? Hurry up with episode 2 please 👌
Blake! Huge fan of your content. Tip for cutting sheets of ply: buy a 4x8 ft piece of insulation foam, lay that on the ground and put the ply on top, set the blade depth a tooth deeper than the thickness of the ply and cut away
Great job, Blake. 🤙🏻 Since I like to ride MTBs, I also like to watch Bike Cave builds videos. Fortunately, I have my own bike cave and this is never ending project, I bring something new every week 📷🎥⚙️🔩⚒🔧🧰🔐
Blake my man, this is absolutely buzzing - I have watched this mini series like 4 times now haha. Finally getting some tools in and going to make my own little bike hut! DIY noob here more than nervous about this lol wish me luck! keep up the good work and stay safe you and yours an all!
Love ya Blake! Just found you, cant ride anymore dude to bad back injury. Nothing like your mate. But C5 is toast. I love watching you and remembering how bad I sucked and telling myself that I can do that, when clearly hindsight is BLIND
A good tip, I used Ikea kitchen cupboards and benchtop worked out way cheaper than buying all the material + the drawers are easy to install and the wire baskets are great.
Awesome job so far Blake! I can't wait to see how it turns out. Two things I would like to see. One is a compact bike storage area. Fit 3 or more bikes in the least amount of space, I do not have alot of room to work with and like to use the space I have to the most efficient use. And B, a movable bike storage stand. When you do not have much room to designate an area to bikes. Something that can be moved and re positioned to another area if needed. Thanks
Great edit as always, I luv Blakes videos, so much energy!!! I did similar in my garage a few years ago using 18mm ply sheets. I also used some kitchen cupboard 'racks and bits' I had hanging around, to add to the storage. Agreed, it ain't easy and takes a lotta time and thinking about, but worth it.
Hi Blake, good job! I would like to see more about the bike rack/storage you made here in the new garage. I'm very interested in because I need to do something like that. Tx and keep rockin'!
I do want to say thank you for showing my "Bike Cave" clip in the opening of your video! It made me so happy when Doddy showed it on GMBN Tech. Keep up the great content and kudos to the guys you've got doing the editing for these video's!
What ever Blake does, his energy is just so inspiring.

Dan Kornfeld these are all good ideas!! Thanks
Daily dose of Blake say “welcome back you beautiful people” to help me through tough time.
Tachibana Kyosuke 😉👍
I know....... He's never met me, but he thinks I'm beautiful!
I know someone who put Blake's words on a loop, and set it as an alarm tone.
Right on. To me it's up there with Sam Pilgrim's "this is the dream!"
@@computerbob06 same 😂
If you have some unused forks you should make them into a truing stand.
Or an endurabarrow
Good idea
Good but can only do front wheels
Kyle Scicluna or sell them to me cheap because I don’t have any money and mine are broke
That’s a good idea I will be doing that with one of my old forks thanks for the idea mate!
I love watching u Blake u r a awesome guy and funny u sure do know how to build things and shredd a bike
I think a more secure garage door/doors and window would be a good investment.
Muz Slingshot Stuff I’m not sure if you can see through the windows if your not in his garden. No one can see what is in but it would be a good idea for the door.
Why, what are u planning🤔😁😋

Unfortunately with the internet it's not hard to find out where someone lives and I know of to many people that have had garages broken into. It's a sad world we live in these days but needs thinking about.
Iron bars on the windows would be a good shout and some bolt with padlocks on each corner of the garage door would secure it.
Bright lighting is always a good thing when working late (dad free time) or on cloudy/rainy days. This is going to be sweet.
another beloved channel that turns into a DIY-home-improvment saga...seems to be quite common theses days I believe
Stefan Böhme sorry 😬. Down times, is good times to pimp out my garage.
@@Zimblake right you are!
Whenever I see one of Blake’s videos. My sister tells me how I am smiling like a crazy person. Thank you Blake, love your videos.
Joe Rebello hahaha you’re welcome dude

Seems like that would make a lot of mess!
This is so nice! Blake is a pro in doing this! And the editing was so great, best quality I've ever seen!
Emile Noterman thanks dude.
You need some dope ass lights in there! So you could work even in the evening and in the winter! :)

Excellent substitute of a biker building something since Seths bike hacks didn't upload anything yesterday =)

@@Zimblake hi blake I really love your positive energy everytime I watch you in the video! You're my inspiration as a teenager mtb rider!❤️

Blake is saving us all from going insane in these times of Covid, good on ya Blake mate.
ConnorVlogz stoked!!! Hope all is safe and sound your end 👍
Thumbs up for this! Roller doors on those shelves
@9:25 I thought that would be a perfect a spot for a compressor. Great minds think alike Blake 😁
Looks like it's going to turn out great! Blake is a good builder lol
