My first impressions, a lot of good changes as in finally players can choose freely to get heroes instead of being pressured to save an eternity and blow it all on a new (hopefully) OP hero in one or two events to keep up with the rest of the players. I can't say anything about the new hero stars upgrade, if it's possible for a F2P like me to get it in decent amount of time, but from the current lineup of heroes, all the of them seem broken OP, except perhaps Valk as an outlier from the other top tier heroes. Arwen for even more insane boss dmg numbers, if Nyx didn't one shot enemy heroes he will now for sure etc. etc. Also I've been giving flack for the changes of hero border/appearance (removing the gold style/shine) but now with the new update the border style makes more sense and looks more streamlined. But the update also brings back problems (or introduces more) this game still has. - The new faction trial seems to go that same way as was the territory, a lot of different faction stuff with way too many stages for veteran player to clear one by one by one by one by one which goes back to the first point with too many animations, too many stages. Even if the reward is not as small as the territory part was, it still feels annoying to do from the looks of it for "little" rewards. (Also idk how the flags are a problem, maybe for P2W?, my main account has 2000 flag chests, while it's true I haven't upgraded many heroes recently since I got my main heroes maxed, around 8 heroes + some other hovering at 9*/10* or higher. And my alt account I started a few months back I don't have any flag problems either, but there I have been saving upgrading heroes for only the most important ones, instead of upgrading useless heroes.) below is a list of things that aren't introduced with the new update but general problems with the game: - There are too many animations, too long, convenience is missing. - Maze also same thing you can't clear open all tiles fast and conveniently, it also takes about half a second before you can click open another tile (same goes for clicking/picking up the items on the tiles), too much loading time which takes up unnecessary time to complete maze. (Same feels like for all the different kinds of click on opponent, click fight (then your hero lineup opens), click fight again, wait for loading screen to finish loading -> press skip) Yes, for almost everything you can skip the load into fight (Skip fight check mark), but you wont be able to see any information about the performance of the fight. You can't skip the loading in Void Cage for example, which is very annoying and tedious. - Guild chest collecting takes too long and is annoying, you have to click each chest one by one and you always have to wait for the window for the acquired chest content to fully open before you can close it to open the next guild chest. TOO MANY ANIMATIONS -> CONVENIENCE IS MISSING. Guild boss chest also seems to bug out often, forcing you to collect the chest sometimes even up to 5 times without getting additional rewards. - Just in general the game feels way to cluttered with "slow" animations, it's just like standard phone animations, it might look cool at first for windows/UI to slowly open up, as in having the look of being "smooth", but I have all the animations on my android phone turned off/or instantly, because the delay is annoying and just wastes unnecessary time. Usability > Graphics - One of the most annoying game "features", which has been outdated for what feels like DECADES -> useless goblin trying to "steal" pennies from you and if you catch him you instead get pennies -> WORTHLESS -> Clutter on the UI while actually trying to do something in other UI, preventing you from doing what you actually want to do and if you accidently clicked the button in the bottom left, it force closes the UI you were actually interacting with. (Especially annoying if you were working on a team lineup and you have to REDO EVERYTHING) I might've missed some issues that I have with the game currently, but they might not be as important, but making the game smoother and more convenient (QoL changes) would go a very long way.

I don't know why this bothers you, f2p gets massive increases all across the board as well. Additionally, f2p was never going to be able to compete with p2w at the highest level, so really nothing changes in power dynamic.
