Horowitz plays Heroic Polonaise for an encore (Previously unreleased 1979 live recording)

April 22, 1979: Constitution Hall, Washington, D.C. (Live)
The most famous polonaise and also Horowitz's favorite encore from his Russian days to his very last recital. He excelled at maximizing the narrative and bringing out the 'heroic' aspect of the work. Yes, it was an encore piece.
Of the numerous recordings left, my carefully chosen one is from a live performance in 1979. The excitement after the concert, the enthusiastic response from the audience, and Horowitz showing off what he wants, everything is contained in it.
