  • Tupac: Using Music For Social Change
There is an abundance of information regarding Tupac's music, life, and death, but there is little talk of Tupac Shakur's passion for activism. Tupac was unlike any other so-called "gangster rapper" because he was passionate about activism and knew how to use his music to enact social change. More so, he understood the only way of reaching his audience and generation was through utilizing the language and culture of hip hop. While we know him more for his music, life, and death, this video focuses on his political work - a part of his life that he was passionate about and something that is rarely mentioned, let alone discussed.
