Omg so we were playing this song in class, and i thought i was doing so good... I was on the WRONG MEASURE everyone stopped and stared at me while i was playing with the passion of a god. I realized and just left the classroom. When i came back i asker my director why he didnt stop me and he said "you were just having such a great time and i didnt want to ruin it"😂
I played timpani drums on this song when I was in Middle School back in 1989 with the Hastings Middle School Concert Band, Hastings MI. This brings back lots of memories! Great Job Band!
This song popped in my head today and I started whistling it. It is amazing.. I had not heard the song since I played it in my middle school band back in 1989. I still remembered the entire song. It’s the one song that has stuck with me over the past 33 years from middle school band. We played it in 6th and 7th grade. When I moved to a new school in 8th grade, this was far too advanced. It was so disheartening. I moved from a tiny school to a much larger school, but the band was absolutely awful.
i play the oboe (you know, the annoying kid that everyone thought was a clarinet but with flute music) and i'm playing this at LGPE in March. i hope it goes well lol. this performance was good i only heard like a few mistakes. good job!
flute nation yayyy but plese make that all of you guys dont brethe after measure 59 and stay on temp ond dont cut off that high c also try some vabroto blow em away but great job
I'm doing this for my school's band festival. :) Also it kinda sounds like "Into The Storm by Robert W. Smith" since it gets upbeat at the beginning then at the middle it's soft, then goes back to upbeat at the end.
im a flute player in this piece and my little sisiter shannon kinsey a star at baratone was in that too man she is a perfectionist at it i love that song it was very hard to learn
Low brass I understand that you have really high notes in this I have an e flat instrument too but it's really that hard just go one octave lower and the best of the best can play the higher
second clarinet vibes I hate how long the flutes go on for on the second page... like ya it's pretty but it gets a lil boring after the second time. don't hate on me I'm just a little clarinet player who is tired of playing dotted half notes on low A for half a page.

I’m playing the timpani for this now I can’t quite line up with the snares at the end. I’m listening to try to figure it out
We had to sight read this in band and now it’s stuck in my head
Holy shit past me is here I didnt even remember posting that. We did great tho if any of you were wondering.

We were playing this today in concert band practice.
Andy Mayeux Productions I’m playing this tomorrow for a concert
😢(◕ᴥ◕)
I remember playing this my last year of middle school spring concert 2014 Northern Hagerstown Middle school MD best song
best song to be ever played
I played this for my spring concert it was my favorite piece
Flute solo was amazing, and I love the first clarinet part. My middle school actually played this song. I think it's beautiful.
I play they part at 1:47 at the concert tomorrow! This is amazing!
25 years ago I played this song 2nd chair baritone south wayne jr high
This is my favorite concert song I played the timpani
There's literally three trombone people in my concert band class and I'm the only 1st trombone for this song xD
Are you sure neither of you are in my band?
We have 2 Trombones
There are only 2 trombones in my band. And only 1 tuba.😪

We’re playing this at my school!

im a flute player in this piece and my little sisiter shannon kinsey a star at baratone was in that too man she is a perfectionist at it i love that song it was very hard to learn
It’s about to go down today boys
I had to play this one, and I'm the only one playing baritone horn, so I had the solo at the beginning
I love how us band members have a language that only we can understand
If u put dis piece on 2x speed, you can see how crazy fast my substitute teacher played dis, think how hard it is for a good little flutetutee
got to play this in the top band at middle school recently. I like escape from the deep more though. (I play the trombone)
🤘
I played this song in 6th grade. First trombone has a fairly decent part
I get to perform this Monday on the baritone I am 13 I so happy when in doubt say pineapple or cream cheese
Haha I played this when I was 13 last year on the base clarinet! And when I'm in doubt I say panda or cheese!
+Angeline Welker Why would you say pineapple or cream cheese when you're in doubt?
+Elven Sky Archer Why would you say panda or cheese when you're in doubt?
Idk, it's just entertaining. I don't do that as often any more though.
trumpet in concert band
1st Trombone bro!!!
Me too :D
first trumpet 2016
How fast is the tempo
Low brass I understand that you have really high notes in this I have an e flat instrument too but it's really that hard just go one octave lower and the best of the best can play the higher

2 years after you responded
Flute anyone
Heyo
Gonna play it in 8 weeks from today
It sounds like the intro to a broadway musical
that trombone section tho XD
I have to play for 7th grade band and 8th grade band which is much much harder.
second clarinet vibes

I’m a tenor sax and clarinet player, and my god the clarinet part sucks
Flutes do go on forever though😂
Flute part reminds me of certain Lord of the Rings scenes
2nd trombone breh
