Crosscountry trains aren't uncommon in weston, they operate a daily service (pre covid) from Manchester Picc to Paington. Hope this helps for future videos! I spot in the weston area myself.
FLNY Mike no on GWR the long distance 2+8 HSTs are retired however the 2+4 short formations known as Castle HSTs are still around with about 11 sets be retained for Cardiff to Penzance services. The HSTs on ECML are retired they were withdrawn in December 2019 East Midlands railway and CrossCountry are at the moment the last 2 operators to have the long distance HSTs although EMR are due to withdraw theirs in December 2020 whilst CrossCountry maintain theirs for now The only other short set 2+4 formation is used on scotrail known as inter7city HSTs for services from Edinburgh and Glasgow Queen Street to Aberdeen
RoscoTrain107 Oh, alright. So that explains why 43185’s a parts source apparently. Also you know if GWR has any other Class 57/6 services outside of the Night Riviera?
Awesome video I've subscribed to your channel
Thank you
Excited for this I am!
Cool.
TGA Trains and Planes not weather related
Fantastic video as always! Still can’t get used to seeing the castle set HSTs!
Thanks. It will still take a bit of getting use to
