That game is still one of the all time best demo derby games. Wreckfest has it beat when it comes to damage model, but the event variety and career mode of Eve of Destruction still can't be beat. Though Wreckfest does have better damage overall, I did really like how in Eve of Destruction damage carried over from event to event in career mode. Shame the bus race was only on the oval tracks though, something Wreckfest does better allowing it not just on the figure 8s, but any track!
Hialeah Speedway in Hialeah, FL used to have the figure 8 school bus derbies. Incredible times when that track still stood and now it's a WalMart parking lot.

@@CaseyBDook The school bus camper is a fad now. We tried to explain to them that a van would be a good idea because we have the AAA super duper platinum option and we could get them towed back home if they had problems. AAA doesn't work with commercial vehicles, but they didn't care.
