This must be the most glorious Serpens I have seen. Crazy it came from such a small cutting. My cutting is starting to vine. Hopefully one day it’ll be big like yours!
I love how you've been popping up all over my timeline CBC interview, and The leca Queen, and daily videos 🎉🎉🎉 my favorite thing about your videos are the scientific method formats. They are so satisfying. ❤
I have been using that same method for my cane begonias. Take a bunch of cuttings, pop them in some pon with the water level almost to the top, and boom! A leaf or two and maybe one cutting will die, but they grow like crazy so it’s not a big deal. Thanks Kevin for the tips!! Just saves the hassle of transferring from water, or moss to a different substrate
I love how much you love this because I love it that much too! What an amazing propagation journey! They definitely love water! Mine was dying and I was advised to give more water and now she has 20 new growth points!!!
When I put serpens cuttings in a prop box under high light, they were throwing out vines and leaves LIKE CRAZY. Now they're in an aroid mix in about 60% humidity in lower light and they've stopped doing anything. Probably just getting used to the changes, but I will move it to higher light and see what happens. Loved watching the progress of yours!
You have found the magic touch to grow anything! My hubby got me a Thai for Christmas so now lets hope I don't kill it... 🎄💚 but my hoyas are surviving because of you. Thanks for doing vlogmas even though I know its tough.. aI appreciate any videos you share.
Kevin! The timing of your video is great! I received the tiniest cutting for free over a month ago and keeping the water level high as you suggest, and I am thrilled it has been growing roots! Now, I ordered a rooted seedling, and it is trailing! So I am going to do what you have with yours! I can't wait 😂
Serpens LOVES wet conditions, but like you said that does not mean high humidity. I have a plant growing in a dish of pon and its given me 3 vines in less that five weeks.

Truly is a full time job to produce the content quality you do ❤
i have gotten my paws on cuttings and hope that I can get her to grow pretty. I think once it starts vining maybe ill do half trelly and half vine (theres this gothic fence trellis i think shed be cute on) with the rest hanging down) wish me luck!
I just love you!!! Where do you get those wire trellises from ! And I too really enjoy watching your propagation journey! In fact, I am working downsizing my hoya collection so I can focus more on my unicorns and propping projects that I have been obsessing about since wacthing your journey!
Hi Kevin i love your content, amazing collection!!! Do you have a video that covers your self watering pots? Do you get them all on amazon or bulk somewhere else? Do you like certain brands better than other? Thank you! ❤
You don't want them to bloom, trust me. They are gorgeous, but they stink like honey-laced hot pee. Not that I know what that would smell like, but when I first noticed the scent, it reminded me of that. And it made me sick. So it had to move into the office during the night (from my bedroom).

I spray them in the summer and check them in the winter. Bright west facing room, keep my cacti there too. No problems. P.S do not open the windows.
I just got my serpens yesterday!

The roots seem to be ok
Mine only grew two leaves in a year it’s been in fluval
I wish I have Serpens in my collection 😣
Why does my leopard skin hoya have wrinkley leaves on bottom and still pushing out new growth on top ...
Meanwhile mine grew 4 leaves in that same time😅😅😅😅 ugh I don’t know what I’m doing wrong
IT LOOKS LIKE A POKÉMON CALLED ARBOLIVA
