Soccer AM was a superb start to the weekend, waking up hungover, having a bacon roll and a cupper watching this great show!

That was a really great interview, sad it took me 3 years to find it, but yeah really interesting to hear about the best years of Soccer AM.

Rocket seems a good guy. Worked on the most iconic football show in the 90s. I grew up watching soccer AM. Loved the show.
Great interview. Used to love Soccer am back in the day. Brilliant banter and sketches. Remember a Soccerette accidentally exposing her muff on there! I don't think it was Pete Doherty who squirted the milk though as it was Dirty Pretty Things on, not the The Libertines. Blokes name was Didz Hammond (had to look it up)
Rocket is a legend, used to love watching SoccerAm before going to play footy on Saturdays🙌

I met rocket when I went on soccer am years ago, fan of the week on the sofa. . Top bloke And I like his story how he got the job, not through his parents like Adam Smith but by writing a letter and sending a CV in. Well done .
How did Adam Smith get it through parents? I thought he got it through doing work experience there

I align Soccer AMs best years with the best years of the PL (incl Soccer Saturday). That Saturday programming was awesome.

I was lucky enough to visit the studio for the soccer am all sports show. Excellent experience and rocket was a quality guy. Met Tim and a few others. Great times. Loved that era

Saw SoccerAm filmed when Hells Bells & Max were doing it, decent day in the crowd behind the camera. Interesting to see how it’s all ran and put together.
Not a clue what they were doing putting Pete Doc on there, was only going to end one way. It was a disaster.

Soccer am used to be the best show on TV i would religiously get up every Saturday to watch for 3 hours . Should of ended when Helen Chamberlain left. No disrespect to Jimmy Bullard but it's not soccer am anymore.
