Hi. I was thinkig at a real time airframe surveilance. It can be done passively using low frequecy ultrasound generated by the airfriction alone. Most beatyfull aicraft and crew I saw. Cheers guys!
Having spent my early years at the airport where my Dad worked on all sorts of aircraft, I am partial to dope, fabric, flying wires and all the good things that go into a vintage biplane. Glad to see that culture surviving in such an excellent example of the aircraft Sir Thomas Sopwith's little company turned out. From the numbers it appears the airspeed is comparable to a 220 hp Stearman.
The engine is a Rotec r3600 150hp. The airframe is structurally strong enough to do aerobatics, however the catagory it’s registered under does not allow it. Cheers
I would suggest you ALWAYS handle the prop as though it's live. Never trust an OFF switch. I imagine this has electronic ignition, not a magneto, but it's a good rule nonetheless. Lovely job though on the aeroplane -- I'd love to fly it. Is it a steerable tailskid, like a Moth?
Thanks for the suggestions mate. As I said on facey it was a dead engine, I’ll make a point to set the scene a bit better next time. The skid is movable which helps things a tad.
I am in love with this airplane !
It really is something else huh!
Well done Paddy, beautiful workmanship

Thanks mate. It sure does have a presence about it and always draws attention. There’s just something about this style of aircraft huh!

I would suggest you mind your own business.
Please, mind the fabric and most important the propeller. Thank you for this.
Cheers mate. As always, the propeller is treated with the respect it demands. Same goes for the fabric
Sweet rig !
