I feel like your content mostly promotes real ‚class‘, in a sense of acting respectful and empathetic, living a healthy lifestyle with a healthy self worth, and pursuing the things we want by positive changes. I really love how it’s not anymore so much about finding a certain type of partner but how to be classy yourself. And as you said in recent videos, one can have little money and still be an elegant and classy. There's so much freedom that comes with losing the desire to impress people. Of course many of us want to be well liked and well received. As Anna said, it's a natural human instinct. What I try to think about whenever I'm buying something or posting something is: "do I like my reason for doing this?" I've found it helps me make better decisions.

      @hameley12 Год назад +2

      Absolutely. @theheartbreaknurse Some of us used to post online [ahem] MySpace and Facebook travel, luxurious meals, shopping bags pictures filled with items and other activities. While posting some memories online is great, there is a fine line between sharing a special moment with family and flexing your wealth and health with everyone on social media. As the question you stated, "Do I like the reason for doing this?" "What is my picture trying to convey?" "Will this picture go on public or private posting?"
      Personally, I enjoy creating personalized albums over time and only pick out pictures I know someday I will share with friends, my own children and my future spouse. These pictures showcase the happy, sad, difficult times and other phases of my life.

    Beautifully explained Anna! People could be happier with what they have and feel more confident in themselves and their lives if they stopped giving so much power and credence to 'influencers'. Who are these people? Why should their viewpoints determine who we are and what we aspire to? We need to ask ourselves (instead of listening to other's opinions) what would make us happy and what gives us joy. Yes, it might be a Rolls Royce, but it may also be a rocking chair on a porch in the woods. W need to listen to our own hearts, rather than letting strangers influence our choices.

Many people I know were put off by your quite frank chasing of rich men and their lifestyles, but I saw glimmers of better things from you here and there. Even in your early content, I thought you had some contributions to make on female empowerment, such as valuing one’s self and setting boundaries with men. I also found your candor and ability to self-correct refreshing. Plus, you didn’t just relax into your new wealth, but kept working. I hung in there, hoping for better content and you are beginning to deliver it.

      I think "chasing of rich men & their lifestyles" does not tell the nuanced truth of my content back in the days when I was blogging and sharing education on high-society. Dating affluent men was a big part of that content, but it wasn't the only thing I was teaching. Funny how it's, the only thing that really triggered people and sticked in their memory. I don't know why people are put off, it tells me more about them as someone with an open mind would just have an open mind.
      My content keep evolving with time as once I have said everything I want to say on a subject, I keep moving forward. However... one of the things that have never changed is that I fully embrace if a woman wants to level up her life with the help of her partner. Wanting to marry up should not be frowned upon in our society and that's what that conversation was and I was giving the tools. Sadly our society is still not ready for these conversations as people have too many preconceptions and just jump to conclusions.

      I have a coworker who liked to say “fake it until you make it”
      Well, two months ago his girlfriend found out he was a poseur so she dumped him for lying to her about how “awesome” his life was.
      He is up to his eyeballs in credit card debt and will probably end up losing everything.
      Sorry to hear you’ve been crying. Rihana is wrong.
