I believe in every word he said, he pictured it perfectly, I felt the same way once CN Blue came out, people were like, FT Island, who is that??? I was so sad. I like CN Blue too, but not as much as FT Island. They have the rock feel of what K-Rock should be. I will always and forever be a FT Island fan!!!!!!
Yeah.....cnb sound is for masses (just like maroon 5 which i dont like...because they tend to be so overplayed)...ft island sound are for few people...special one (like me or you lol)...they have that "real" k-rock feel..
im a new fan of ft island and lee hong ki. im also a fan of many boy groups....but lee hong ki is waaaaay too unique and talented than most of those i stanned. He is someone that cannot be for granted. Great talent and personality.

yes, part of that was cause they couldn't play live in broadcast TV so ppl thought they didn't know how to play(though really it was the places that didn't have the structure for It) and in the very beginning hongki messed up a lot in songs on TV and that gave him a bad rep.(he talks about it on radio star) that kinda thing took a while to get over, but now I think they are more acknowledged for their talents, they just aren't whats in on kpop trends (aka hiphop)
think FT Island is alright. im sure that it take solid talent (like FTIs) to be able to come this far. and they're flying high now..am sure they'll fly further. FT Island is a solid rock & roll band. i believe in each of them and will surely look forward to their life long achievement, ALL the best FT Island. Fighting!
to be honest when CNBlue came out i was like, who are they to fight with FTI? im not even a prima but FTI songs are just plain awesome and hongki is just so cool as ever with his voice and fashion! :D and then people started saying CN is more popular than FTI i was shocked. even till now i dont understand why its become like that. im not saying CNBlue is bad but CN didnt impact me like FTI did.... once in a while i would clear my songs on itunes and i can always take out any CNBlue songs without hesitation but i can never take out any FTI songs because they just still sound great even after years the song release. CN songs just sounded addictive for months and it dies off. FTI songs are addictive for years and till now im still stuck with Love Sick LOL >< anyway just my thoughts. no bashing please :) i dont wanna primas to get in trouble because i aint a prima anyway LOL i just happen to support FTI and their music. Please stay strong FTIsland and Primadonnas!

I just become self proclaimed pri but i watched their liveperformances and the hell!!!hong ki did a deep impact to me...i do prefer songs for masses like CNB has but when i found out about FT island & their unique songs i felt like my music preference became different...before i don't like rock type of music i usually find myself inloved with acoustic ballad type of songs but i do appreciate rock songs before but somehow i find myself loving FTi songs which are too way difficult and unique than catchy2x songs that i prefer before...i really love FTI and their songs!!!they're just too amazing that every single day i can't do anything without putting my earphones listening to their songs!!it just made my work lighter than my usual work routine,it gave a calming essence to me...... FT island made that kind of impact to me that never happened to me before!!!that made me realize that i became their recent solid PRI.. i will forever love this band!!!no other bands in my heart FT ISLAND alone!!!maybe cnblue is more popular than FTI but it doesn't justify that they're better than them!!!It's just the population of unique people in the world like FT ISLAND and loved by only unique people like PRIs is very rare and that concludes Fti and pris are special ...TALENTS????FT ISLAND have it all without a doubt!!!hong ki,jaejin,jonghoon,minari and seunghyun fighting!!!always remember life is long and enjoy every moment of ur lives with the people u love and thr people who love you...u are all young and there's still a lot of things on ur road...keep strong and keep ur feet always on the ground as what u always do.. pris will love u till the end.

Still, CNBLUE introduced me to FTISLAND via Hongki's cover of *I'm A Loner* and secured my loyalty with *Love Love Love*. Hongki's very good at seducing fans of other groups. I'm glad I stayed even through their korean hiatus after ther FTHX tour.
ft island still the best...lee hongki is irreplaceable..his unique vocal range is more powerful..compared to the main lead vocalist of cnblue.but anyway both groups are talented..
