OMG,.I ran up over $1,000 on the 900 number. AT&T forgave the first bill and blocked 900 numbers but Mom had to pay the 2nd one that came in before the block. 😂😂😂 I remember hiding the phone bill because I was so scared!

I got in sooo much trouble for calling the 900 New Kids number. My phone bill was $500 and ohhhh weee I got my ass whooped for that. Since I was a little older though spanking didn’t hurt. But damn I was scared as hell when my mom showed me that bill.
I was lucky when I was younger. My parents were cool with me calling the Hot Line back then. Danny's birthday is the day before my son's and Jordan's is two after my son's birthday.

Omg this is hilarious. In a few years I’ll be 50 and im still gushing over hearing Donnie’s voice on the phone hahah. True story. My family was the black sheep on my mom’s side and everyone let us know it especially on christmas and birthdays. The cousins would get beautiful jewelry and from the aunts and uncles. My mom was the poor one with 8 kids so we never got much from her and the grandparents and aunts and uncle gave us just small things so that we wouldnt be left out but we never got us nice things like they all got the other kids. Well i was a young pre teen and it had to be maybe 88 or 89 and dont ask me why or how but by that age (12-13) I was a major GNR, Poison, Skid row Alice In Chains NIN fan and that year for christmas we already knew we would not be getting anything we wanted so my little brother and i just prepared for the fake gratefulness anyway someone gave me a NKOTB cassette tape and i am not going to lie i was. Very disappointed bc that was not the kind of music i liked hahah. Anyway I went to my room and i cried silently bc that year that was the only gift i got but i put the cassette player in my Walkman and that was the first time I listened to anything other than hard rock and i was in love. I loved that cassette tape till it got caught in the Walkman. I would take it out and put my finger in the little holes and wind up the tape and put it a min to my Walkman until it got caught up again. Until one day the tape got caught and I couldn’t pull it out. I remember crying when it broke. But yeah i wish i had that tape again.
Man I called it a couple times back then. My mom was not happy. Allowance deferred for 2 weeks😂

I am 47 years old and could not call the 900# Donnie Your so right my parents would have grounded me forever. Well when i was younger there was a guy at school who knew i was obsessed with New kids on the block (the guy also had crush on me) and wanted to go to a concert to see them. one day i open my locker and out falls a Ticket. The sad part is I never got to go My dad wouldnt let me go well of course i was going to sneak away to go But I go looking for the ticket and he had ripped it to shreds Wow I was heartbroken. Fast forward many years later my boyfriend knew that NKOTB was having a tour and we were going to go see them in PA once again never got to go i ended up in the hospital the night before and had to have surgery. Well this time I am not going to miss seeing them in concert. I have never been to a concert and cant wait to go see them. I will also keep calling this number just to hear their voices.
