TWS are an absolute necessity out of pure convenience when you're on the go outdoors IMO - I've found that the Noble Audio FoKus Pro/Mystique hit the spot over aptX Adaptive only, and from my trial and error given the low price ceiling for TWS - I do like the Hifiman Svanar Wireless and consider both to be TOTL as far as TWS goes for now (for my personal tuning preference/sound profile). I have yet to try the new NA FoKus Prestige and UM set - I've been busy and out of the loop for a while. I think you responded to my comment on the best IEM comparison review piece - I'll try to hunt it down. I also strongly agree on ANC being necessary in certain scenarios - for lifting/gym I absolutely need it during deadlifts due to the sound of steel KG calibrated plates distracting/scaring me, taking away my ability to focus on technique and execution (my friend circle can also relate so I'm sure it's a common thing). Great review as always! Thanks.
Great review, very useful reference points. Do you know how call quality is on them? Also would be good to know how they compare to the new unique melody TWS.
how would these compare to the sony wf xm5? is it worth the price bump? Also how does the Svanar do with an iphone? Any audio latency when watching a video?
Very interesting! I never considered tws besides phone calls! Would you able to think of a wired iem this would compete with in terms of technical performance/ sound quality ?
Hey This is Steven I have watched a lot of your reviews and I like them. Appreciate your great reviews! 👍 I’m considering getting DMP-Z1 with Hs800s, how do you like matching sound? I listen to a lot of classical music and I own SONY NW-WM1ZM1 and SONY NW-WM1ZM2, My current headphones are UTOPIA, MDRZ1R, AWKT, HD800S, HD600 ( IEM: IE900, XELENTO remote 2) I like the warm , thick , analog , sound from SONY NW-WM1ZM1 and SONY NW-WM1ZM2, ,they sound like a tube amp. I listen to a lot of classical music, jazz , and instrumental instruments. I’m wondering if DMP-Z1 is powerful enough to show the real potential of HD800s. I currently use the Sony Dap with HD800:. I don’t have much experience with desk top headphone amplifiers. Will you recommend this combo if I like the SONY NW-WM1ZM1 , NW-WM1ZM2 And HD800S The DMP-Z1 is a lot of money, so I want to make sure I make the right move I like to buy everything brand new and I don’t sell my gears at all, I like them to aged with me. And if I purchase SONY DMP-Z1 , it will be my only desk amplifier for home use for all of my headphones. Your thoughts and opinions will be very helpful for my final decision. Thank you
brother make a video comparing hd 650 vs 600 , currently these are at low price, i am trying to purchase 600 for its tuning , whats your take regarding resolution, layering between 2
Really if you want resolution or layering, go for something like the Hifiman Sundara or even Edition XS/Ananda, the HD600/650 are not very good at that at all. What they are good at is tonality, if you want brighter/shoutier/more clarity/less bass, HD600, if you want very similar but just a bit warmer with a bit more bass, a bit more veil, not quite as shouty, not quite as clear, HD650. I prefer the 650 personally, but they are very close. Sundara is much better than either, especially if you are looking at resolution or layering, and Edition XS/Ananda are a big step up again.
tested the svanars vs all these and the sony x5's and the brand new bose ultras. bose is #1. my svanars had horrible connection issues. also everytime i switched listening modes, i'd have to reconnect the svanar to my sony nwa306. the svanars had almost zero bass. the samsungs bass was way way better/deeper. I really wanted to like the hifimans. the bose are the best of the batch for my ears. and the noise cancelling is super well done.
@@Lost1ntheSauc3 I've got a few totl iems and ciems. I tried all their tips out and even bought 3 different brand tips, determined to make the svanars work. Have you tried them yourself?
I remember people telling me the mest mk ii's had bass. imo legend X has the proper amount. do your svanars disconnect everytime you change noise cancellation? @@utini11

Literally just bought this. I recommend the Final Type E tips for this.
Great review, very useful reference points. Do you know how call quality is on them?

Call quality is decent should have covered that!
I think using a TWS is needed for work, travel, gym.. Etc, thank you for the useful video.. I am considering to buy Svanar 👍
Glad it was helpful!

Interesting review as always! I would be interested in a comparison between the Svanar wireless to the Focal Bathys soundwise.
Good idea!

Maybe the Penon Fan 2?
@@amplifyaudioreviews nice not bad at all for a wireless ! Actually, quite impressive..
you said the box does not have cheap feeling to it, but it does
I'm involved in an auction for such a set, but I only have a Spotify subscription... is it still worth it?
no

does anyone know if they support multiport bluetooth connection? I cannot find this info anywhere :(

Are you sure they sealed correctly? Svanar should've stomped the competition from my experience.

My Svanar's have serious bass, more than my xm4/5's.
