This program was wonderful! What an awesome presentation to our Senior Saints! May God abundantly Bless all of the performers for taking time to bring some joy these precious residents. Internet Viewer.....Springfield, Missouri The United States of America
I do not "Read" music and play the "little dots" at the same time. I spend hours adding the little letters beneath the printed notes on sheet music that I play on my base. Normally I sit on a stool in the rear of the band between the tuba and the second drummer. When I stand in front and sing my voice is pretty much covered up by the ensemble instrumentalists. In this performance I have been directed by the leader to sit off to the side at a table in front of the audience. That is because I have been quite ill for the previous three weeks with a virus. I was too weak to hold and pllay my bass.I was able to walk with difficulty to the microphone an sing my two solos. I am better and am spending literally hours scoring 20 new songs to be ready for reherasals in January. Playing my base with the ensemble is the high point of my daily life each week here at Quincy Village Senior Community here in Waynesboro, PA.....Ray
