That's how it is. You order your main dish then they keep coming around with a whole bunch of different sides and of course the "Throwed Rolls." As much as you want.
I bowl in the Greater Ozarks Open Tournament in Springfiield, MO and I always seem to find Lamberts for a great meal before leaving the area. They have a such a great staff and much needed delicious food.

Omg!! I love Lambert's Cafe. I have only been to the one in Foley, Alabama. I recommend everyone trying it. They throw rolls at you and give unlimited selected sides. I was going to go to the one in Ozark, Missouri but decided to check out Paula Deens restaurant instead just because I have already been to Lambert's. Both are super good.
I first would try the fried catfish and coleslaw; then a little chicken fried steak. I may be too full after that. Yes! We have apple butter in the South! I’m not a dessert person but will eat apple pie, chocolate cake and most things chocolate and cheese cake! Good BURPEE!!!

Nice, I went to the one in Ozarks once but the one in Sikeston is only 20 miles from where I had lived in New Madrid and been there 30 or 40 times. They use to let you order the main course and if you eat it you can keep gettin' that for free as well but they had stopped that a year ago. The sides I like the okra and the potato/onions as well as the rolls with the sorghum
Baby when I tell you me and my friend will drive from Mississippi to foley Alabama for those rolls and fried potatoes and onions. Yes sir when I visit from Atlanta we get in the car and drive out to the beach and then go get Lambert’s omg yes I miss it

I think I was most excited to hear you say the word sorghum!!💗 Not many people know what that is (It’s pretty old school and mostly seen in farm county) or the many amazing uses it has.👍 It’s a great alternative sweetener for pumpkin or pecan pies too and can be used as a gluten free flour substitute!! The nonprofit farm I work for (Little Farms for Veterans) is growing it and hopes to reintroduce it to the general public as a healthy and cheap alternative to some ingredients 😊💓

Lambert's is a wonderful place. My family and I always make a stop in Sikeston on our road trips to SE MO. The catfish, candied yams, and of course rolls are my favorites.
@stufoo All my trips to MO are for business so I've been to many of the great steakhouses and BBQ joints (which everyone always insists on going) but I've managed to slip in a few mom-n-pop pizza and sandwich shops. But yes, the Ozarks are definitely on my list.

My mom and her girlfriend took me to the one in Ozark for my 19th birthday, which aside from being a major drive from Nashville, was VERY worth it. I tried to catch one of the rolls and ended up hitting my head on the back of the booth seat, so we all had a laugh but that was also the first time id tried apple butter...and omg that stuff is heavenly. Thank you for bringing up such a great memory...keep up the awesome content dude love ya!!

My mom used to make fresh apple butter back in Kentucky. Fresh picked apples from the tree. Can't beat it!!. Also homemade blackberry jam when we picked blackberries. ❤❤ that all looked amazing. Nothing better than Southern comfort food!!!!

Used to go to Lamberts in Sikeston back in the early 70s, tiny place then , an the owner threw the rolls. Good memories.

You have to drive through Sikeston to get to Ozark from Nashville. Why would you not go to the one thats 3 hours closer?
