Thanks for some other tips that will be useful to our congregation but may I please add some depth to some other things. - do not sing based on your emotions bc this is not about us, when we stand in front of the congregation. - Know the Bible verse based sa napili mong lineup song. Speak it and tell the people about it, to remind them about the goodness of God. - be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit of God and to His presence. - fast and pray, away from gadgets, read your Bible. Engagement daw po with congregation tru expressing our emotions, meaning kapag masaya or mabilis ang song as worship leader pwedeng gumalaw galaw.. (bilang worship leader po) this are the skills na pwedeng iconsider. Wala naman pong sinabi about worship should be all about emotions or the foundation of worship. Wala pong ganun. Example, kapag masaya ang songs dapat ba nakatayo ka lang, we should encourage them to rejoice by what? Syempre gagamit tayo ng emotion.. to express the truth! I don't agree with the point, that as worship leaders, we express our emomtions because God said we must worship Him in spirit and truth,, and not base on emotion,, because if base on emotions,, that would emotionalism,, and not base on the working of the Holy spirit

You're quite contradicting. Worshipping God in spirit and truth, yes that is right. However, how can someone be true without conveying their emotions? Maybe what the speaker's trying to say is that convey the emotion of the song you are singing. Let your face be not as steady as a rock. Worship like David, expressing the full spectrum of his emotion while considering God's truth (His character).
Suggestion lang po. Karamihan Po sa mga song leaders mataas Ang voices. Puede rin siguro na iadjust din ng kaunti ( itaas or iba ang pitch) for the congregation to be able to sing comportably as well for them to worship. Thank you

As a worship leader, is it alright for a leader to command the congregation to do what the leader want to do like for example, a leader says to the congregation, "come on church, worship the Lord!!!feel the pressence of God, or raise your hands and praise the Lord and the congregation at the very start,they are worshiping God with their hearts even what position or action they are doing and yet a leader says,come on Church,worship the Lord .for me,it can leads destruction.why bec.
