Good review. I think the Grizzly is very capable in the woods, but depends on what type of riding you want to do. If you want to ride like a full suspended mountain bike and do a lot of high speed woods ridig and jumps....yeah, not this bike, but if you want to go slow through the woods on semi rough terrain the torque and all wheel drive help a lot. I have some decent trails near me and the grizzly climbs the hills on the trails easily. It also crawls over small logs quite well. Mistake I made when first driving it was just going too fast in the woods. Once I understood the capabilities of the bike I slowed down a lot.
Excellent. While I am not into peddling these days, you did address the comparison question I would have had, which was: is the suspension better than the ubco you recently rode. I don't know about that riding position on this bike either. And as you know, a lot of our terrain in WA. (roads) speeds are 35-45 MPH. So, if that is not capable of getting us to the slower roads, it would not really be a viable option to get off our hills to get to the valley terrain.(or back up at the end of the day) Anyhow, I am enjoying this extra content of yours. Very interesting stuff.
New subscriber here Ryan, thanks to your excellent review for adults by an adult! No wasted words, great video work, gave me the feeling I was riding the bike!
What these people wont tell you is if you unlock the speed like he did and either get injured or anything happens with the battery or bike the company wont be held responsible for any damage caused. Also these batteries are not certified with any US standards of quality control, meaning yeah they could be LG or SAMSUNG battery cells but you can have some random person wiring this with no standard for how anything should be wired for safety standards. Buyer beware.
I found out about what IS NOT COVERED when inquiring about insurance…. Just as you stated … And I also wondered about these batteries… the LEAST they could have done was to MAKE SURE THEY HAVE A UL rating seeing as it’s a u.s. branded e-bike … Not sure if I would have bought it had I known b4 hand … but finally 11 months after it being delivered with a broken key chamber on the rear battery that’s supposed to be to the battery tray and missing toque screw for the front wheel…. I am finally pleased with its performance … sure wish they would keep there accessory items AVAILABLE but I’ve bought all my upgrades from other online vendors .
I have had to replace several spokes, so, yes, mag wheels would be great. As far as the weight of mags, my Juiced HyperScorpion has mags and it is about 100 lbs. That being said, the back wheel spokes cracked and creaked and broke. The bike came that way when delivered. I should have sent the whole bike back to Ariel Rider. A bike mechanic told me to do that.
I own this bike. Stupid that they give you rear foot pegs but a short seat so you can’t have a passenger. They used to sell a longer seat but stopped in 2022. I bought a long seat on eBay. Now I can sit back more for comfort. This bike gets flats very easily. I just started having heavy rear motor vibration below 23 mph, then it runs smooth above 23 mph.
The Talaria Sting eBIke doesn't need pedal assist to go up hills, it has more than enough power to make it up the steepest hills, on or off road. But at the same time it's a totally different style and also about 30 lbs heavier.
@@YOU_GOT_SHOOK You are correct, I misunderstood what he said about the power. He was specific in saying that if you only have a 500watt motor on the rear you would need pedal assist. And yes, there is no comparing Talaria and Sur ron to that little thing.

I just finished your review of the EBCO and now this . I am 70 years old 5’5” 160 lb and have ridden dirt bikes forever but am looking for a lighter bike with great suspension. I have a Yamaha xt225 (240 lb) and an Ariel Ryder X class e-bike with F&R suspension. The Yamaha is far superior to a factor of 10 as far as suspension. All my riding is off road with steep hills and sand dunes . Have you ridden dual purpose motorcycles? How would you compare the ride?
Great video. Cool looking ebike. I'm wondering, what was the battery drain like on that test? Like did you start at 100% and how low was it toward the end?
You can get 3 lectric 3.0 for this price and they go 28-30 mph. And they also get really Good range on on the standard battery don't even need their extended range battery. I go 40 mile round trip on mine no issue. I do peddle though on assist 3-4 the entire trip.

OK I think some people need to know if you things I’ve been a professional bicycle mechanic since 1998. Bikes like this that go at really high speeds. Yeah it’s great until you realize the brakes are not up to stopping a machine that heavy fast enough to even be safe. The wheel bearings inside of them are usually severely under greased and are going to get so hot riding that fast it’s going to destroy itself. This is like putting a Lamborghini engine in a Ford escort. It’s not gonna turn out great
@@YOU_GOT_SHOOK oh pumpkin it’s so cute that you think I don’t well I will tell you this because of the influx of cheap Chinese online electric bikes I’ve been busier than ever because I’m one of the only people around that will work on them. Thanks Ryan. This Grizzly or a Honda Grom? 🤔 they are about the same price, but of course one is an e-bike and the other a small-ish motorcycle. Both appear to be insanely fun.....and yes, I fit the Grom just fine
@@Enrique-peralta..."added safety gear"? sure, helmet, gloves, long pants and boots...but the grizzly will get up to 40mph (w/tiny brakes) and you don't want "extra" gear while riding that? granted, while in FL, I saw plenty of ppl riding motorcycles in tank tops and flip-flops. I don't mind the extra gear. Yes, both are totally different experiences and the Grom is an 'M' endorsement on the license (which I have), extra insurance, gasoline, oil, and registration. however, something about the Grom just screens "fun" w/o the seriousness of a larger motorcycle.

There’s no way it would hit 45mph..the top speed for these hub motors is mid 30s..dual or single is around the same. Would just take longer to get to top speed with single motor
Not practical at all, a huge chunk of cash for 2 hub drives, a heavy battery and wanna be motorbike (heavy) frame with not to mention very cheap components on it, shimano altus is the cheapest rear derailleur you’ll find on a Marlin 4 and Halfords bikes, so poor shifting and that’s what you get with shimano Altus for a start. Nice wee video but a bike that’s extremely heavy and an absolute headache when you do experience a puncture
The seat is NOT 21" high. It's 34" high. It's also absurd that a single 1,000 watt motor could barely get you up a hill. 1000W should have been more than enough to do that which makes me question the actual nominal/peak power of the rear motor. ALSO stupid that there are passenger footpegs with a tiny single seat that can't be upgraded. Finally, it's idiotic that they cheaped out with 2 piston brakes when they should be 4 pistons for a bike like this.
f your over 5'6" tall these moped style e bikes are a waste--you cannot adjust the seat and it is hard to pedal with your knees in your face--the reviewers never tell you this

Looks fun-ish but also uncomfortable and noisy and pretty slow accelaration. You didn't explain some important things like it's range, especially in AWD without pedaling. Also the weight? Also, how well do lights work after dark....
This bike has one of the fastest acceleration and torque in the game. Surron comes at first.
I have found that 20 mph on my e-bike into a strong headwind or crosswinds is not safe.
That seat is not 21 inches high...
which ebike has the longest wheel span? i'm tall and heavy.
the radrover 6+ is huge.
if your over 5'6" tall these moped style e bikes are a waste--you cannot adjust the seat and it is hard to pedal with your knees in your face--the reviewers never tell you this--i am 6'2" and trailhappy review who is 6'5" never mentioned that that on his moped review--i gave my euy moped to my friends daughter who is 5'4" and she is happy on it--if your too far back on the seat it wants to wheelie on you all the time
OK I think some people need to know if you things I’ve been a professional bicycle mechanic since 1998. It’s not gonna turn out great
I'm surprised you've been a bicycle mechanic for so long you don't even know about ebikes.
@@YOU_GOT_SHOOK oh pumpkin it’s so cute that you think I don’t well I will tell you this because of the influx of cheap Chinese online electric bikes I’ve been busier than ever because I’m one of the only people around that will work on them. I do at least five brake jobs a week because of most of these pieces of crap and their sub power equipment so you just continue believing whatever you want and doing whatever you want because honestly I don’t care.
@@LargeeeScaleLife some people just love being a Karen, so yea i do not care what they say either, take care :0
I have the Grizzly, I'm 235 lbs. and the brakes work wonderfully.
No problems with the wheel bearings.
How much
Needs a larger batter for greater range.
The bike has 2 batteries, on 20 amp hours and one 15 amp hours for a total of 35 amp hours.
I need an e-bike that can be comfy for a 6 ft 220lb guy.
So looking around.
I’m 6’1”, 215lbs and the Grizzly is very comfortable to ride.

What is the incline percentage that bike won't climb West Virginia has mountains and valleys great review..
The hill that required both motors was roughly a 23% grade (about 13°)
Thanks Ryan. This Grizzly or a Honda Grom? 🤔 they are about the same price, but of course one is an e-bike and the other a small-ish motorcycle. Both appear to be insanely fun.....and yes, I fit the Grom just fine
For this format, I prefer electric. Both very difference experiences.
Grom is added insurance msf plus safety gear plus maintenance
Go for the Honda Grom or the trail 125. They will definitely last longer
@@karlfonner7589 Or even the XR150.
Nice bike but that 21" non adjustable seat would be a deal breaker for me.

The seat height is 34 inches. Only leprechauns use 21-inch seat bikes.
All wheel drive? Don't you mean both wheel drive?
Duz not go 45
Definitely doesn't hit 45 mph.
I have one top speed is 36 to 38 on flat ground with no wind. I tested free wheel speed on mine and it was 40.5.
There’s no way it would hit 45mph..the top speed for these hub motors is mid 30s..dual or single is around the same. Would just take longer to get to top speed with single motor
What kind of helmet are you wearing?
Mongoose Full Tilt amzn.to/3UDP1x0
BMX
You forgot a thing. It looks like a kids' bike. That's all for today, folks!
(VERY OVERPRICED GRIZZLY)....ANIIOKE BIKE..GREAT DEAL
Why all the great and fun products are only avail in the US. It is not shipped in EU apprently. Very sad
Get better handlebars (lower &wider) and order some grizzly tires from super 73 and it's a TOTALLY different bike 💯💪🏾
Só faltou o gato na sexta né irmãos
Definitely not for me..that seat is too low for me with these long legs..I think I'll take a look at the revv 1 but it's still a nice bike tho
f your over 5'6" tall these moped style e bikes are a waste--you cannot adjust the seat and it is hard to pedal with your knees in your face--the reviewers never tell you this
How could I order this exact model? It is for my mother I want to get her one.
Still using those weak ass spokes. Those dinky things break after a while and especially if you give someone a ride
