Funny story: I accidentally predicted that Phantylia is Tingyun. When I started this quest I was wondering how the boss fight would go. I was wondering if the boss battle would be like the Cocolia fight where the Trailblazer gains a Hunt version with a new weapon and element. Then I thought, what if the Trailblazer gets a fan because Phantylia uses one, then I remembered that Tingyun uses a fan and “determined” that they might only gain weapons that no other characters use.
Imagined Traiblazer get the hunt path that use the fan to clap their hp ☠️
Dan Heng's spear is named (Cloud Piercer) he's no longer using it, it's from the Hunt path, etc. I hope that Trailblazer inherits it (with a cool redesign without the dragon pearl, as Dan Heng still uses that). I'm extremely biased because spears are my fave weapon, but it'd line up really well.
@@MrSignman65though I like the idea, It feels cheap to use another "poke-y" weapon as his third weapon. I really love the idea of weapon inheritance from another character though, so I can overlook that small nitpick.
@@Vekcrazah Valid critique, though the Trailblazer doesn't seem like a particularly dexterous character, so maybe they'd slash with Cloud Piercer more often than Dan Heng even though it's a spear.

I'm guessing Cy's issues with March come from him speedrunning the part of the game that led to the Luofu out of wanting to get to Jing Yuan. Game went to quite a bit of trouble to make it clear that March wasn't up for coming to the Luofu or listening to Kafka since she doesn't trust her, only relenting because she didn't want to let people possibly die. She then gets told to "show your papers or my guards will escort you to an airlock" by Tingyun, that they're unwanted and unneeded but that they have a nice prison cell ready for them by Yukong who (rightfully, to be fair) sees them as suspicious and then sent by Jing Yuan to hunt down Kafka instead of the thing that they were there for, the Stellaron.
Her being upset and disrespectful makes perfect sense to me. Not even Jing Yuan, the only person who showed them some trust at the start deigned to give them proper info, instead hiding that Blade was on the run and possibly putting them in danger (had they not figured out Blade had escaped they could've marched straight into a confrontation with two Stellaron Hunters instead of the one they were expecting) so her feeling unwelcome is... pretty accurate.
She's completely in the right here. The people of the Luofu have treated the Astral Express crew like outsiders at every step of the way while being perfectly content with making use of their skills but not trusting them with proper info in critical cases. The Trailblazer helped them root out the Disciples running around under their noses and put Dan Shu on the run but the moment things got heated neither Fu Xuan nor Jing Yuan saw fit to let them know it was the Disciples that were involved in the Arbor's revival. Hell, they even put Tingyun with the crew and look how that ended up. Welt may be understanding and calm about the whole thing because he's been through some shit, but March is impulsive, emotional, brash and completely unfiltered. She looks at all the crap they've been through and how they've been used since stepping on the Luofu and she isn't liking it. Her being confrontational seems perfectly in-character to me.
Glad to see that I wasn’t the only one who found tingyun way more attractive with that sudden change of tone and behavior. Like before she was a nice girl but after, holy, very much appreciated change (without considering the neck snap part)
same, i already liked her character before it was the revealed that "she" was the traitor, but when it happened i honestly didnt know whether i should be scared about the real tingyun's whereabouts or fanning myself because of how attractive that entire sequence was

I managed to scroll past quickly so didnt properly see the thunbnail, but getting spoilers from titles and thumbnails of creators you like is a real bummer.
