My late father was a pilot during the Korean war. When he first got over there he ran into some B-29 pilots who had their planes all shot up by some Mig 15's. Fortunately, the closing speed of a Mig 15 was so great (over 300 MPH if attacking from behind) they really didn't have much time to squeeze off aimed shots-just spray and pray. Still, with a 37 mm main cannon, they could do a lot of damage with one or two hits.

I have a matrox triple head to go and three monitors. Works great with x-plane. Will this set-up work with IL2?

Works. I played for couple of years with three 4:3 20" monitors and the TripleHead2Go. There are some limitations on using with the IL2: Windows desktop must be set up on the left monitor (not middle or the right one) and the Windows desktop resolution must be same as ingame resolution.

Having 4x4 .50 modified to shoot faster shooting at you, it deters you from coming slowly behind. Look what happened to 2 in the beginning.

why your horizontal indicator is in wrong side?

Russians use horizontal indicator that is diffrent from west. In Poland for example we have jets from the west and post comunist russian fighters and they have diffrent horizontal indicators.

They do and they killed dhillr's wingman at 2:05. It's just the matter of approach:
If you're attacking a formation at 1000 km/h from above, you're not an easy target.
If you're going 700 km/h and sit on bomber's six, you're gonna get some lead in your face

B-29 markings are incorrect - they are WWII era (USAAF) not Korean era USAF.

How impressive it must be to recreate the missions of the Ace of the Korean War, Nikolai Sutyagin. He shot down more than 22 USAF planes. He also stand out in World War II. Superlative Pilot !!!
