Good entertaining videos but if we do the risk analysis of this trip it was a high risk flight.
Few points:
1. The start-up procedure was wrong as you pushed throttle full forward initially instead of 1/4 forward which you corrected later.
2. Fuel selector was selected to BOTH and there is nothing like ON. Fuel shutoff valve is ON or full-in
3. As per Section-4 of the Pilot’s Operating Handbook or POH, Electrical equipment should be OFF except the Beacon light which should be switched to ON before startup and not the Taxi light as you did. The NAV light is switched ON after startup but before switching Avionics ON. Taxi and Strobe lights are switched ON before Taxiing.
4. Flight controls free and correct, you just moved the yoke left and right without visually checking if ailerons went up/down and missed to raise the elevator and check the rudder.
5. Very big mistake was to call tower and say “Ready for Takeoff”. Remember the Tenerife disaster, the correct call should have been “Ready for Departure” and the tower will give Takeoff clearance by saying “Clear for Takeoff RWYxx”.
6. Not having a head-mounted torch for a landing post sunset or a night landing. The mobile phone’s torch is not considered as a torch as per the FAA.
I believe you should have flown few hours and practiced forced landings or PFL before taking a cross-country flight. The pilot lag behind aircraft was very visible but Ritu was on the Right seat (instructor’s one). 😀
Better safe than sorry as no one is perfect and it is the practice that makes one perfect.

I am studying to be a doctor, but while seeing gourav and Ritu mam like this I want to change my plane and now I want to be a pilot (love u both🥰)
Finish your medicine first but take flying lessons to get your SPL when you get time. After MBBS you can work on your PPL, and ratings. Gaurav is a BTech engineer and then took up his flying. Follow that path because you will take breaks during your flight career so being a Doctor who can also fly will make more sense.
