STELLA FOR STAR✨ This was familiar, but I appreciated the insight. As a highly discerning movie lover, I’d had already seen ‘Streetcar’ years ago and was blown away. It’s been on HBO Max for quite some time now and I’ve watched it like 20 times. Timeless! I’m not sure what schools you’re referring to, I imagine British schools or film schools, but thank you for the great content and I’m going to subscribe to see more of your content! Love & Light from Miami Shores🦚 Stay safe mate🌎✌🏼 Peace & Prayers for the people of Ukraine🇺🇦
I haven't read the play, which I'm going to, but I've just seen the movie, and the way you describe Stanley and Blance is so not the impression I am under. I guess you're reading the accepted critics' view, maybe in the play the characters will come across differently, but throughout your video I was like, "Oh, really?" P.S. I would also like to point out (not sure anyone's done that) that Belle Reve is "Beautiful Dream" in French (pronounced "rev", not "reev", of course). Just in case someone wants to use it in the essay.
Some people claimed that she has NPD, MPD or a specific mental disorder called HPD or Histrionic Personality Disorder. Others have claimed that she’s Schizophrenic. I don’t think anyone will truly ever know what Blanche’s mental illnesses are besides the author himself. EDIT - Imposter Syndrome is another one
More Histrionic and Borderline personality not Bipolar, she doesn't appear to cycle but be consistent in her behavior. But agree PTSD is the likely source of her conditions.
amazing connections in this video. a truly in depth analysis, thanks.
This is really helpful especially when we are learning about the play in our English lesson
I have a real problem in that I am just like Blanche. lol
Wonderful Vivien ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Thank you, this was very helpful!
Blanche suffers from PTSD and is bipolar. Type 4 in Enneagram, gone in stress to type 2.
