For me, Auntie Connie has become an unexpected star of this rollout 🙌🏽😍. She is literally responsible for all of the footage, and her story reflects so many of us. She reminds me that being an aunt is my favorite job. She is an inspiration ✨ 💖💖💖
I wouldnt say so as the iceman videos were more cryptic (you could argue to the point of lacking any sort of meaning) while these videos are more straight forward on the message its trying to convey.
This documentary is the “CULTURE” NO one can GIVE you this. You can’t BUY this. You can’t IMITATE this. You have to LIVE this or be EXTREMELY CLOSE to this. This is the….CULTURE
And THIS is what makes Hip Hop.. anybody can RAP.. but HipHop is cultural. This is the difference that nobody likes to make or understands. That’s why most Hip Hop sounds ‘like u rappin to get the slaves free’
For Kendrick to say “I got a thousand cousins and friends that were rapping and doing music and out of all of them he was the best one” is truly wild to hear!
12:00 “we didn’t have shit, but it was cool” What a testament to his Grandmother. Just keeping the family together and making memories despite the circumstances. Shout out to the people that try to hold things together for their family when everything seems to be falling apart. My Mom did this for our family growing up and I have so much respect for her because of it.
damn man...that ending part is so powerful "we didnt have nothing but it was still cool" and then you just get this beautiful panoramic shot of the family really being a family. it didn't matter what the struggles or the shortcomings were, they were still together and happy
He's so right...when grandmas/matriarchs pass it really changes the energy and dynamic of the family. So glad she was able to have her own home before she passed. The ending credits remind me of the ending to The Godfather when Michael is reminiscing about the past and all of the people who died - very nostalgic and bittersweet.
I love that Kendrick didn't just give freebies!! It kept Keem hungry and actually make a name for himself instead of "Taking the favourable route!". 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I don't wanna hear anymore of that nepobaby, Kendrick's cousin crap after this. I think Keem wanted to finally set the record straight about his life after all the BS talk going on. Good for him. He earned everything he has.
The grandma part legit has me crying. We didn't have nothing either and yeah it *was* cool. Made me the person I am today. Felt that in my soul. Can't wait for this album.
I didn’t think anything could top th Clipse rollout last year, but damn… pgLANG really are a step above all competition. This filmmaking is beautiful, Keems story is relatable (both tragic and inspiring), and the snippets they feature are tantalizing. Need this album now.
If you’re from the hood/streets in your late 30’s - 40’s all these documentaries hit you in a special way. Who cried watching all or one of the doc’s? I and III had me choked up frfr.
7:59 I was front row at this show, 2019 at Baby's All Right in Brooklyn. A$AP Rocky and Lil Dicky were in the crowd moshing with us. One of the best shows I've ever been to
Between Tyler, Clipse, A$AP Rocky and now Baby Keem I’m so glad to see artist world building and having rollouts again. Surprise drops are fun but letting people understand your motivation behind your music is how you build fans for life.
All the footage of Keem as a baby just touches my heart. He was clearly so bright, so curious, a beautiful child who went through so much. But he had an entire family behind him and that makes a huge difference. This documentary is beautifully done. Can’t wait for the album!
Those who have been fans of Keem since before The Melodic Blue era know just how amazing and emotional it is to see him come this far. This album is about to be SO special bro.
This ain’t my family, but this IS my family. Its all very familiar. I feel it through and through. My heart is filled! Thanks LaConnie. Keem. PgLang. For sharing this
😂😂😂😂Wtf..So keem copies drakes rollout n u hate on drake ...Truly drake will only get his flowers once he is dead ..rather than celebrate Keem dropping u come here to bash drake ..what typo loser energy is this
Hope this album will cement Keem’s name as his own for his artistry and not just known for being “Kendrick’s cousin”. We must respect this guys for their own work and creativity that they put in. Shoutout to Keem and Kendrick 💯💯🐐🐐
What I love the most is that I never heard what the real Vegas was like for the people who actually live real life there. Keem is going to be the first to tell this story in Hip Hop and this is going to be legendary
This is really dope frfr. But yo it’s sooooo many dope rappers and artists out here in LV. Give em a listen. Watch the 5th Element HipHop show!!! 🫡💪🏿💪🏿
The documentary is really interesting. The choice of 2 videos side by side is very interesting they almost fit together but at the same time they don't. You don't know what to look at sometimes but in a good way. Bit of a chaotic story but a really interesting one.
3:11 i love how instead of dropping singles, we just get these dope snippets DAYS before the album. to contrast, lot of artists nowadays are literally dropping singles for an album that’s literally never coming or generating no hype.
Everyone say thank you Connie
Nah fr THANK YOU CONNIE!!! 🐐🙏
Thank you Miss Connie! Wish my Auntie did the same 13:21
“Thank you, Connie.” - we all say in unison 🐐💯
Thank you Miss Connie ❤
Thank you Auntie Connie ❤❤❤
For me, Auntie Connie has become an unexpected star of this rollout 🙌🏽😍. She is literally responsible for all of the footage, and her story reflects so many of us. She reminds me that being an aunt is my favorite job. She is an inspiration ✨ 💖💖💖
🖤
I hope she is proud of herself bc archiving all this and still having it today is amazing
Auntie Connie becoming a filmmaker before our very eyes, LOVE this for Her
Loveeee this for Ms Connie!
Right! Spoke that into fruition !!!!
Becoming? She BEEN one
She always been a filmmaker just never got the recognition
Hope she gets a grammy for this.
Seeing the siblings rap was beautiful

Now I get why Kendrick said “I hope Hykeem makes you proud cause you aint die in vain”.
😢
Which song fam? This line sounds familiar
@anti-skyforex1473mother I sober I think
@anti-skyforex1473Mother I sober
“Watchin my cousin struggle w/ addiction then watching her 1st born make a million” everything comes full circle 🐺
I remember last year at the Grammys when Kendrick was doing one of his acceptance speeches he mentioned his auntie passed away that day😢
Good catch. I remember that.
“I got a thousand cousins” -Kendrick Lamar
Shit runs deep in the family crodieeee
I was looking for this comment lol
I imagine a lot suddenly showed up when he blew up..
@2ClutchCorey someone gon bleed in the other side's family crodie😈
one of them tried to sue him cus they got the privilege🤣
This Booman series is what ICEMAN wanted to be
This is actually crazy to think about. It puts in perspective how much damage Kendrick did.
💯💯😂
Facts
@Zaysowavvhow lol
I wouldnt say so as the iceman videos were more cryptic (you could argue to the point of lacking any sort of meaning) while these videos are more straight forward on the message its trying to convey.
idk why every artist just decided to lock in this year but im grateful, WELCOME BACK KEEM.
tell em Kendrick did it!!!! lol
HONESTLY 💗😊🔥🔥
cuz music been so mid lately, these artists need to lock tf in and drop classics
Because the world is about to end and they want some cash before to have a good time!
@Alisha1686say that again
This documentary is the “CULTURE” NO one can GIVE you this. You can’t BUY this. You can’t IMITATE this. You have to LIVE this or be EXTREMELY CLOSE to this.
This is the….CULTURE
Absolutely it is the culture, I see parts of my families memories, struggles and successes in his story. This is a dope rollout!
💯And OUR culture is so diverse.
Agreed
And THIS is what makes Hip Hop.. anybody can RAP.. but HipHop is cultural. This is the difference that nobody likes to make or understands. That’s why most Hip Hop sounds ‘like u rappin to get the slaves free’
💯💯💯
WE ARE READY FOR THE ALBUM BIG KEEM!!
"I'm not a lyricist"
Proceeds to spit a fire verse
I love this rollout! S/O to Connie for capturing all of these moments, the docs really has helped give me a better sense of who Keem is. ❤
It’s so raw and intimate. It’s human!
for real!!!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
This might be the best rollout I’ve seen for any album ever. Literally a whole major network-level documentary.
For Kendrick to say “I got a thousand cousins and friends that were rapping and doing music and out of all of them he was the best one” is truly wild to hear!
12:00 “we didn’t have shit, but it was cool”
What a testament to his Grandmother. Just keeping the family together and making memories despite the circumstances.
Shout out to the people that try to hold things together for their family when everything seems to be falling apart. My Mom did this for our family growing up and I have so much respect for her because of it.
My grandmother did as well. Grandmothers are so special, My God! ❤
Why am I crying and smiling at the same time looking at Hykeem grandmother? This documentary is on another level for real
cuz your a moist sugar cookie

Yes it is, smh..I am ready....🎉🎉😂👆🏾
@luvluyahlet’s goooo😂😂
Nah fr.
Auntie Connie’s voice is so melodic. I love how it sounds to the beat. She sounds like a natural wordsmith.
3:45 is that “my Uncle G told me that I got a chance”
10:19 is “A million to grandma- who did I offend?”
"So then I popped out and did it again, and did it again, and did it again..."

damn man...that ending part is so powerful "we didnt have nothing but it was still cool" and then you just get this beautiful panoramic shot of the family really being a family. it didn't matter what the struggles or the shortcomings were, they were still together and happy
Made me cry. The Dramatics song took me out.
Yeah that's the way it always seems to go!
The matriarch passes and the family enploses!
No one steps up to take their place!😢
I love that Kendrick didn't just give freebies!! It kept Keem hungry and actually make a name for himself instead of "Taking the favourable route!". 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Give a man a fish…he eats for a day…teach him to fish….he’ll eat for the rest of his life.
Facts❤
I don't wanna hear anymore of that nepobaby, Kendrick's cousin crap after this. I think Keem wanted to finally set the record straight about his life after all the BS talk going on. Good for him. He earned everything he has.
@Nikki_the_G you can say "He dererves it all!"
This rollout is the best for real
Dropping this during Black History Month feels extra special

A callout of "I'm not a rapper" Supahotfire, the greatest to ever do it?
If you’re from the hood/streets in your late 30’s - 40’s all these documentaries hit you in a special way. Who cried watching all or one of the doc’s? I and III had me choked up frfr.
Me. Even older late 50’s. The Dramatics song took me out
Born in 82 it hit. Almost cried for real. This roll out is nice
Same
It feels so familiar.. like it could have been my family. Authentic memories of how my family used to be before my parents died. I relate to it all!
I swear 🎯
5:45 yeah we know 🤣
Hykeezyhd for anyone curious he really had a Minecraft channel lmao
😂💚
7:59 I was front row at this show, 2019 at Baby's All Right in Brooklyn. A$AP Rocky and Lil Dicky were in the crowd moshing with us. One of the best shows I've ever been to
8:14 Kendrick talks in the track XXX about his cousin who didn't want to go to school and wanted to become a rapper like him
Johnny don’t wanna go to school no mo
But he got 1000 cousins tho
8:30 Johnny don’t wanna go to school no more
Exactly! 😯 that whole verse is Baby Keem
Between Tyler, Clipse, A$AP Rocky and now Baby Keem I’m so glad to see artist world building and having rollouts again. Surprise drops are fun but letting people understand your motivation behind your music is how you build fans for life.
J Cole too
Rocky really didnt have that much of a roll out. Just a single and a AWGE sponsored vinyl, thats it.i agree with the rest tho.
@Aqwwp He dropped 5 singles leading up to DBD
all my favs dropping🔥💣
@Snipezelite02only two of which were actually relevant. Imo dropping those earlier singles then delaying the album killed the hype alot.
Not even a Keem fan like that, but I'm thoroughly enjoying these. I'jj definitely be giving the album a listen later this evening at 9pm pst.
This album will justify the 5 years we waited 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
4 and a half year*
Give aunt Connie her Flowers. Classic footage!!
7:25 Kendrick 🙌🏼
All the footage of Keem as a baby just touches my heart. He was clearly so bright, so curious, a beautiful child who went through so much. But he had an entire family behind him and that makes a huge difference. This documentary is beautifully done. Can’t wait for the album!
The anticipation for this album is on another level. I cannot wait! Loving this role out.
Those who have been fans of Keem since before The Melodic Blue era know just how amazing and emotional it is to see him come this far. This album is about to be SO special bro.
5:40 AllMightyModz reference!!
I'm not a lyricist snippet is fire

U know it 💯💯💯 it’s gonna be generational

It be that way sometimes.
1:57 booman got his rap ON !!
Dreams do come through... dont stop dropping music my nigga
Baby keem did what drake tried with all the iceman bullshit
And Drake failed while keem succeeded
😂😂😂😂Wtf..So keem copies drakes rollout n u hate on drake ...Truly drake will only get his flowers once he is dead ..rather than celebrate Keem dropping u come here to bash drake ..what typo loser energy is this
Or you could just enjoy Baby Keem without mentioning Drake? Looking for likes or something?? That’s last year shyt, move on.
@LAMINE-YAMMALwait how are their rollouts in any way related??
Th3re z no #ice_man album. The fcuk with all these leaks. Just stunts with no product. Dude z done for. He got no shit coming out 2026. Just watch🙂🙂
"Johnny don't wanna go to school no more. Johnny said books ain't cool no more. Johnny wanna be a rapper like his big cousin" 8:10
Hope this album will cement Keem’s name as his own for his artistry and not just known for being “Kendrick’s cousin”. We must respect this guys for their own work and creativity that they put in. Shoutout to Keem and Kendrick 💯💯🐐🐐

“We ain’t have shit but it was cool”
I can relate to that wholeheartedly
The documentary is really interesting. The choice of 2 videos side by side is very interesting they almost fit together but at the same time they don't. You don't know what to look at sometimes but in a good way. Bit of a chaotic story but a really interesting one.
9:34 The Grammy for best Afro goes to… full circle moment 🏆
3:11 i love how instead of dropping singles, we just get these dope snippets DAYS before the album.
to contrast, lot of artists nowadays are literally dropping singles for an album that’s literally never coming or generating no hype.
This is one of the best roll outs I’ve seen in a very long time
That’s the difference between real artist and people who just make songs.
This is actually the best rollout I can think of this is so sick
that ending was beautiful
Keem is no nepo baby. He earned his spot. You heard Kendrick, he wasn't favouring relatives.
Ladies and Gentlemen in few hours, few hours man💚
his voice is so deep now
His voice been deep but his rappin aint (im hopin it stays low cuz that shit unique and hype af)
Hasn’t it been like that for years? In 2022 it was deep
“Grandma and I miss you” hits harder
Watching Keem growing up and what he & his family went through is surreal. It feels like we really living through it, shout out to aunt Connie
2:52 raps🔥🔥🔥
Fr this sounds fire
@Hunter-rl3by self-improvement is attraction 🧲
channeling his inner andre3000?
@mokh1n_ pure and smoothly 💪🏿
Kinda sounds like andre 3k
Thank you Auntie Connie❤❤❤❤❤❤
@6:36 You can't tell me Kendrick was not a troublemaker growing up 😂😂😂. That face is pure mischief.
What a beautiful ass rollout
The documentary shows you why black peoples a never die off we have very strong family values and ties that makes us keep each other up 🖤🖤🖤
“We ain’t have shit, but it was cool.”
OH HE FINNA BE RAPPIN🔥🔥🔥
grandma seemed like a good one, rest in peace
