wrong. everything has its place and time. that is what Quran teaches. this was wrong place to have recitation of quran. the quran should be respected and only recited in pure places. this is a drama and acting and also people watching this might not always be paying attention fully or wearing head covering. so the Quran can be disrespected because of this because no one is expecting it. maybe someone is watching this drama in the washroom on their phone, and all of a sudden quran recitation comes on, its not his fault, the sin is on the makers of this drama for putting something in the wrong place.

Duniyapur has quickly become one of my top favorites. The long recitation of the Quran, something never before seen in a drama, is absolutely commendable. This drama deserves to lead the rankings and should be added to Netflix for a broader audience. I’m beyond thrilled for the upcoming episodes! The plot is exceptional, and the acting is unmatched by anything else out there.

the funeral scene at the graveyard had my heart. i was watching the drama on my way to work, on my phone; i immediately paused it and decided i would watch that scene in peace at my home and give it the attention it deserves. the recitation was on point just like you would hear any normal person recite the last rites. It was moving , humbling and fully realised both by the actor and the director. the sincerity and dedication to the craft was palpable. that actor was born to do that scene! i am floored.
