  • This is an interview that CNN made with Soul Asylum right after the release of the 1998 album 'Candy From A Stranger' exploring the gag show on the music video for the single 'I Will Still Be Laughing'.
    Besides answering how many songs did he wrote for Winona Ryder, Dave Pirner talks about the new record and there's also a few lines from Karl Mueller and Dan Murphy with some takes of the band in studio.

    I saw them on tour in like 97 or maybe early 98 doin promo for the candy album.. they were very unhappy with Columbia records at the time although I dont remember what exactly they said. It was a great show although I wish they had played more of the older stuff.
