Great job.. I weld this thin stuff all the time in less then ideal situations this is exactly what is realistic and what outcome you should strive for. Great Job.
i would not reccommend people to use the thin grinding disc to grind sideways like that ( i know a lot of people do it ).... but for those who are new to working with metal; when such a thin grinding disc breaks it explodes and can cause serious injuries... its even forbidden these days to work like that, goes against safety precautions and inspection can stop the company and give a fine for that kind of stuff xD btw it only takes a few second to change to the thicker grinding disc which is ment to be used for that instead, it can safe your eyes. just last week i even was wearing safety glasses and using angle grinder and a little piece of the disc got under my glasses into my eye.......... imagine if i would not have weared the glasses.... i rather take a few seconds more to change the disc than to lose one of my eyes for the rest of my life
Does starting and stopping so many times jeopardize the strength of the weld? Does the starting welds stick on top of the slag from the previous spot? I know what you're welding is thin so it won't be structural but I'm just curious. Would a thin 7014 rod be good for thin metal?
Striking an arc just takes practice. Make sure you're not running too cold. The arc going out during welding is because the rod burns away as you weld so you have to keep that arc length through the duration of the weld. Sounds like you just need to keep practicing
I'd see all that restriking and I'm thinking you're going to get swag inclusion in weld but I do understand you're not trying to build up too much heat to burn through

I like your videos and my channel also makes videos similar to yours.❤❤❤❤
Job well done fella. You know how to handle your rods for sure.
que electrodo uso y que amperaje?
Try using a smaller diameter welding rod.
Nice lesson

Hello brother, what setting and electrode should I use for 2mm steel?
I use 2.6 mm. electrode and 70-80 amp. bro
Muchas gracias
Numpang belajar sobat
Thank you for the video, It is amazing, how the e6013 has such a nice silverish colour.
Perfect

How many ampere you use?and what electrode number?

. . . aun aguanta esa amperaje sabiéndolo manipular
10/10
No indica a qué potencia pone la máquina

Can you advise how to weld with basic electrodes, I bought one and it's hard to strike the arc or the electrode goes out during welding?
Striking an arc just takes practice. Make sure you're not running too cold. The arc going out during welding is because the rod burns away as you weld so you have to keep that arc length through the duration of the weld. Sounds like you just need to keep practicing

3/32 6011, 7018 over and 40 amps just weld it
This is ok for non certified welds, it would b better 2 use a smaller rod, or if possible mig weld it.
