Thanks for this very informative. I started doing a little alternative modelling a couple of years ago and had no idea where to start.

I knew i recognised you... Soon as you started talking i realised I've most like
Likely seen you around Glasgow at some point!! This was a great video by the way, I've just accepted a 3 year contract with a modelling agency and I'm hoping to specialise in alternative modelling. Definitely boosted my motivation to succeed so, cheers :D

I actually do have a few tattoos. Two of them aren't the greatest. Do you think that will hinder my ability to model?

How "alternative" do you think a person needs to look to be an alternative model? Do all alt models have colored hair and lots of tattoos and piercings or can you be an alt model with a more natural look? (In my case I have 1-soon to be 2-tattoos and no piercings except for ears, and my hair is dyed black).
Another question i have is how relevant is height in alternative modeling? I am about 5'3'' or 5'4'' and i was wondering if you think that is too short?

Hey there :) a lot of people describe alternative models as models that don't fit the 'conventional' model mould. While a lot of us are very eclectic looks wise, you really don't need to be covered in tattoos and piercings :) a lot of it is down to attitude really. Height is another big difference between alt and conventional modelling. It's a lot harder to do conventional modelling and be short (most agencies want 5 foot 8 and I know of maybe one uk one that accepts 5 foot 6). Height isn't an issue for alt modelling :) sorry if this is a bit unstructured haha, I'm on my phone. If you have any other questions or anything feel free to ask :)

+TheLuciferFallen Thank you so much! These are things I've been worrying about for a long time and it's been keeping me from really pursuing modeling. Now I feel like I'm justified in going for it. :)
