So he has Claustrophobia because when he was little he was alone in a room with fire causing His mother, Felicity Afton to save him, Unfortunately she died and Mike passed out losing his memory but all that was left of the memory was a fire and him in a small room. This is my theory for this idk if its right but it adds up.
