- We've heard about the "Stairway to Heaven" on the Pinhoti Trail trail and today we get to climb it! I'm in for a surprise when the trek through the Cheaha Wilderness doesn't turn out quite how I expected. In the end, we hit the high point - literally.

Chin-Pin-Sky loop (?17 miles?) combines the Chinnabee Silent Trail, part of the Pinhoti Trail, and the Skyway Trail. Adams Gap is the (in my opinion) best access point. Also the Adams Gap to Blue Mountain Shelter section of the Pinhoti is the one of the most used portion of the Alabama Pinhoti Trail. BCM
Love your videos. I am in my late forties and just started backpacking. Your information has helped me take my daughter out on the trail. Just hiked a portion of the Foothills trail with her and it was great. We plan to go back and finish it later this year. Now I'm looking at the Pinholti.
