I really have a lot of respect for kim sunwoo. He still doing all the stunts professionally and challenging himself on many things since rtk despite being scared. The Boyz are really the hardworking boys. They do literally everything for their performance just for TheB and viewers. Thanks god I get to know them more since kingdom. I became a BTS army around October last year and I’m usually not that interested or impressed by other groups ( not that I don’t listen to other groups it’s just that they don’t grab my attention) so when I see things like these I can’t help but ask questions and five deeper. I recently since around March this year I started listening to other groups/Artist : Ateez , Nct (all of them), WayV, SuperM, Stray kids( just two songs thou), Enhypen, Hwasa and Chungha.
I am scared by the fact that the crown fell before him. I can't emphasize how dangerous that could have been. He could have fallen on the crown, which could have injured him gravely
YES when i first watched that, i was terrified because if the crown had fallen anywhere near his body, he could’ve been so seriously injured, thankfully the performance went great but it was so scary
It was probably foam or a light plastic by the looks of it, as well as the sword, from the weight of it in his hand and on the sword. I have faith tbz and staff wouldn’t use a prop that would pose a danger. Even the sword in Kingdom perf unit that it’s one used was foam and actually broke pretty easily during recording.
And the matress on which he fell are not adapted tour these kinds of stunt they should havé used an air bag type that is also what i got worried and he ended up with the pain killer straps
To think that he held himself up in a position that hurts much, covered up the mistake before the camera turned to him, and still could rap with no problem making us believe that this is how it was meant to be is unbelievable.
After watching this- I think I doesn't matter they didn't get the kingdom title but Mnet actually played a really dirty game on these guys. Even tho other groups did well, I can see why deobis were dissapointed with the results.

What Deobis are mostly mad about is the fact that the other groups got aired footage of them discussing their ideas and practicing for their stages and then for The Boyz Mnet just showed random clips from Road To Kingdom, highlighting the members small mistakes and showed their crying and vulnerable moments as a cliffhanger or recaps. To those watching Kingdom and aren’t familiar with The Boyz it doesn’t show them in a positive light and that’s why we’re mad.

Velma and Hi Hello the reason why he did these stunts is because he wanted to challenge him self for The B and to himself showing that he can do anything and the members.The company they are in is really good and taking care for the members plus the members wouldn’t do that to each other if they didn’t trust each other. I definitely think they wouldn’t put any members in that type of situation if they where uncomfortable. i wondered this too because i can’t remember what video it was but sunwoo said he was supposed to also being doing a flip in one of the performances but he was too scared so either sangyeon or eric did it instead. i think he just wants to overcome his fears for the fans’ sake but i do hope he’s actually comfortable doing these things

At first my guess was that he wanted to do an amazing performance or he wanted to overcome his fears or something, but what really made me seriously question it was when he teared up in the pool during kingdom for the no air performance. He fully had tears in his eyes he was that freaked out and I thought if it’s that bad why are they forcing him?
Not to mention how in the ‘no air’ performance, his arm slipped and he was literally only being held up by the downward force of his fist rather than actually holding on to the rope like he was supposed to. To be able to hold his compute and still perform amazingly well despite his life literally being in danger, I can only respect him even more than I already did.
Mad respect for Sunwoo, he literally has a lot if trust on his members and to the dancer. Like they could have a mistake and drop him, that's just legit brave ^~^

you can see it in the video at 5:06 but when he was hanging from the rope in the no air kingdom perf, he said in a behind the scenes that he was supposed to be hanging from his elbow. however, he wasn't able to get there before his part came on and instead was left hanging from his WRIST(!!!!). AHH???? that would be so scary agshfjfksk he could've fallen at any timeeee and the camera was on him for so long
His clothes must be slippery or he must've sweated a lot that his Skin slipped in his clothes for him to not grab the rope with his elbows. His dedication made me love him and the group even more!
I have had this happen to me. The moment he caught the rope my arm screamed in pain for his. That hurts so bad. And he's much taller than me. The taller you are the harder it is to catch yourself like that! The fact he caught himself and barely reacted and went right into his part (minus like the split second of grimacing) is insane. He has a lot of dedication!
One of the most shocking things about the TBZ Kingdom performances for me was how much risk goes into each one. Sunwoo is a scaredy cat but never lets his fear stop him. I have even more respect for that than for someone who's not afraid at all.
did yall hear what he said in that No Air perf? i think he mentioned how he was just hanging by his wrist bc he wasnt able to grab onto the rope properly so he was so shocked as well that he didnt fall. he's so talented and so brave 💖 kudos to him and the rest of tbz for being so professional with all of the stunts they do

I have never seen a group like them who goes so hard during their choreographies and does so many stunts, especially him… They really have amazing choreographers & a great team and have to have a lot of trust within each other so I have a lot of respect for him & this group. I didn’t watch any full episodes of Kingdom but I am aware of some of the groups and seen some of the performances from them and other groups… Everybody did so amazing & a lot of the performances were like musical shows, I have heard what many people have been saying and I concur that mnet definitely could’ve done better especially with treatment of tbz.
their kingdom performances really were something else but they were treated quite bad :( but i’m so proud of how hard they worked and for getting 2nd place even with a comparatively smaller fandom, they’re so amazing and all the other groups on kingdom too !!
The way he never complains ☹️ Bc he knows everyone's having a hard time. And when he was so afraid to do the underwater photoshoot. His hyungs asking him if it's difficult. And it breaks me when he does not say "Yes, it's difficult for me", he just says his body won't go down. The way he was struggling as he hangs on to the rope on that certain stunt, few seconds before he was onscreen, he was fumbling but when his part came on, he acted like it was effortless. As a Sunwoo biased, I got so stressed watching Kingdom every time I see him doing the stunts but at the same time very proud. I hope he takes good care of himself. ☹️
i can't imagine the amount of work they put into their performances. sunwoo was so brave to go through with the stunts. tbz are truly larger than life.
The boyz literally put their blood sweat and tears into these two years.... Every performance that they gave deserved to be iconic I'm So proud of them at the end of their journey
I’m so proud of this boy for his bravery and conquering his fears to execute these stunts so well. When I watched that under water part in Kingdom, it was so sad that I cried for Sunwoo.

Tbh he came to become my bias in tbz because I was really mesmerized by his stage performances and it was RIDICULOUS how he managed to pull these stunts off, so I respect him for that.

Since i became a fan of them last 2019, i really know that he's afraid of heights and other scary things. And he's easily to be shock when you scare him and check his heart if it's okay. That's why I'm so proud of him
He has been my bias (along with Q) since day 1 of stanning The Boyz and one of the first things I found out about him that made me admire him was how his on-stage persona was this charismatic and fierce rapper but off stage, he was an absolute scaredy-cat. So seeing him pull all of these stunts and just swallow the fear despite how hard it is just makes me so so proud.

Since i became a fan of them last 2019, i really know that he's afraid of heights and other scary things. And he's easily to be shock when you scare him and check his heart if it's okay. That's why I'm so proud of him

He has been my bias (along with Q) since day 1 of stanning The Boyz and one of the first things I found out about him that made me admire him was how his on-stage persona was this charismatic and fierce rapper but off stage, he was an absolute scaredy-cat. So seeing him pull all of these stunts and just swallow the fear despite how hard it is just makes me so so proud.

i could sense his urgency during no air djjdjs. but honestly i never realized he was so afraid, especially during quasi una fantasia. he was barefoot... he could've slipped. but since his facial expressions were perfect... wow. proud of them all 🥺
And I'm very sorry because I just know him this year, he's very strong, I'm very proud of him🥺🫂❤️💯
