You say to press the right trigger and that’s shows passing options and I try the left and it’s inconsistent I was running to dunk an open net and he just stop waited 4 like a second then shot tf
Do myleague, the association one instead of season. It should be the first option in this menu. If you’re doing that already, after the finals, hit start on your controller again and it should progress into the offseason tasks.

I can’t get the aim/timing consistent and the shot is always aimed at the side or front of the rim (which opens it up to all those senseless bounces where the ball hits every part of the rim EXCEPT the backboard before it falls off). Mike Wang mentioned bank shot layups very briefly at the beginning but I can’t find any specific info on it. Thanks
The problem is that people have to focus on aiming and all this other nonsense and hopefully not forget how to do a move instead of focusing on the play or simply making the shot... Who is going to remember all of this in real time on a ranked match? The game is already fast paced... Live needs to come back for 2022. You dont have to aim its bullshit. You can just use the meter. I dont use the meter for layups just shots. If u want a REAL boost turn meter off and get a feel for when to release to green. The green window is bigger n easier to hit with meter off. Fuck all the aiming

@@eeriedog7601 dude hell no. It is not the same. You absolutely can not hit a shot unless it's a green release. In 2k20 you can hit them sometimes. And on top of all that, this new shot meter is mad small. It's not clear enough for when you're shooting on the move
Dumbest thing 2k did was put a shot meter it's like they just want to encourage arcade style play.anyone who perfects the meter is almost always gonna win vs older 2k no shot meter everyone had to figure jumpers out it was more even playing field

i dont use right stick, and i will never use it, sooooooooooooooo theres gotta be a diff way to do all this right?
Everytime i go for a dunk my player does a layup instead and misses

make sure the right trigger RT is pushed when you try to dunk. You need to press RT + X ( or square) while driving at the rim

I've gotten used to the Long Athlete layup package but my spin lay ups don't come off as clean as what you've done with JA. What package is that?
