I own my own business and do a lot of crashed up panels on cars, and have to say when I get a panel like this I always come back and see how Arthur would go about it I've learnt so much by just watching Arthur's skills, I have basically the same setup as Arthur does, with the spotter welder and pulling jigs. the art of what he does he makes it look easy but I assure you it takes time to learn these skills Arthur must be the best bodywork man going, one day I hope to be as good I get my work 99% then a skim of filler to level everything up, but Arthur takes the time to shrink the metal pull it shrink again if it's not right and love the way he does templates to check the profiles great job, great man, I am so glad he has shared is skills here, because there are not many people will teach you these skills it's all about fitting new panels nowadays the true craftsmanship is in danger of being lost, but I still repair what most won't, I was told at 16 years old never to drop my standards and lived to that I am now 59 worked at BMW for a while it's all about time and money so went on my own to do the job properly.

You remind me when I used to do exactly the same! Cutting and welding and my especialty painting cars complete or spots blending so customer can't tell where old and new paint began! Also used to rebuild old muscle cars! Till I mess up my back! But this brings tears,memories and what I miss the most is the smell of the clear coat! Thanks for the video and God bless!
Your career sounds like mine and ended the same, 12yrs ago I had back surgery that stopped me. It was a blessing in disguise. Like you I miss the smells and just being in the shop playing with tools and fire, LOL Goodluck to you and enjoy your retirement, I know I have .
