Also I like this, if used in a different context: "Laura Spencer is a very likeable woman. There's a certain dignity about her, something in the way she carries herself, an honesty and truth that shines through her eyes."
This was one of my favorite scenes in soap opera history, and I hadn't seen it for nearly twenty years; Thank you so much for taking the time to upload it
Whoh!Justice did an awsome closing argument. I almost laughed at how ridiculous Dara had sounded , when she said Laura was a killer with an "Angel's face." Good stuff! This was good storytelling here!!
Fantastic writing and acting! I bet he got a standing ovation from the cast and crew when he was finished with this. I was glued to the screen. Got a little teary when he mentions "Laura, Luke, Lucky, and Leslie Lu" and their "happy ending." And laughed at Dara's "Laura is a cold-blooded killer" statement. That's what great entertainment does, makes you laugh a little, cry a little, and keeps you in anticipation of what's going to happen next. Thanks for posting, even on so little sleep.
I really like Laura's attorney. I didn't watch the years he was on the show, but the more scenes I see that he is in, the more I like him. Great actor!
@aukluk I agree... excellent storytelling ... when the characters were "REAL" and everyone was doing the best with the hand they were dealt.. much different than the contrieved stuff we get on current day GH IMHO.
Justice needed to be kept on GH, tptb could've picked someone else as the killer for some inane reason, he's a fine actor who added a lot to the stories.
What I love about this storyline is: nobody is really the bad guy here. Justus is wracked with guilt, Edward is encouraging him to stay quiet but you can't really blame him, knowing his character. Dara is just misguided. You can't really blame anyone here, just watch it all play out.
That's what we say there's so much entertainment they have provided, that you could just start from the beginning watch through and then start all over again and it's just as entertaining!!!
@@sussezq You are catching my semi-retired butt watching these things all over! I kind of would skip through, or occasionally just watch a clip I enjoyed for it's dialogue, imagery, characterizations, etc. Now, 3-4 years later, I'm promising myself I won't skip, even if the intensity or plot is something I can't bear - and I think there are things most LnL fans have a hard time stomaching. I know what comes next after your LnL series ends, and I am going to make myself watch it again, even though I don't want to.
The young man that played Justice Ward should have won an emmy based on this bit of footage alone. However, the writers make his character out to be a coward.
Yes they did damn I don't understand if you are a great Actor keep them on and praises them for all there hard work to make the show a EPIC ONE. WHY because of the ratings and for all of GH fans! Gee I don't know am I just talking for the HELL OF IT? JMVHO! DAMN GH WAKE THE F...UP ALREADY! PEACE OUT Rosie.. See this is why I don't watch GHanymore!
Oh please if I said it once I have said it 30 millions times. That's writers now from like sorry I not to sure but it's like a lot chanced in 2000 or 2001. Look the later writers wouldn't know a great story line or an EPIC actor if they trip over one..Please either they did not care or they did not think that it was worth the effort????JMVHO PEACE OUT Rosie!
Justus: But Justus! Justus! I hear you say. What about the REAL evidence? COME OUT COME OUT WHEREVER YOU ARE! ROFL! I love the peanut gallery. :) Joseph C. Phillips was FANTASTIC!!!! Yes very fierce!!!
I know about David Hamilton. Who is the other murder victim. It can't be James DuVal, that's still an unsolved homicide. I didn't watch GH after 1986. And I didn't know That Luke and Laura had returned to PC, until I found this channel.
The year before this, Luke and Laura's home was invaded by gunmen (along with a few other places in PC). Laura shot dead one of the gunmen to save Luke's life. ruclips.net/video/nWDCvethH2E/видео.html
Great stuff!!! You could hear a pin drop as Justus spoke.
I can't believe Luke finds out it's Justice and doesn't make him pay for what Laura went thru

One of the things I loved about this story was how pissed off Luke was. Ended a great friend, but this was some damn good story telling

As far as I'm concerned, he was the only Justus. The recast was horrible
Honestly Damian Smith should have stayed on the show. He brought a lot to the canvas. But this was one of the best storylines on GH ever.
I really like Laura's attorney. I didn't watch the years he was on the show, but the more scenes I see that he is in, the more I like him. Great actor!
But in the end you do know that it was her attorney who killed Damian right?

Perfect performances here!

Damn riveting stuff! I had forgotten how awesome this was, and now I'm re-watching since I watched it here 3 years ago!

I HAVE COMPLETE AND UTTER CHILLS WATCHING THIS CLIP lol
Good soapy stuff and yet brilliant acting...
TY FOR UPLOADING:)
On Justus closing argument ... he convinced me ... but shame on him for doing what he did and making Laura suffer for it

@@Dionpitman ...Its a lot to remember. Back then, I was keeping up with high school gossip and. Luke/Laura
Thanks👍
This justice was the best actor
Then they destroyed Justus and the hero was sacrificed to the mob.
Dynamic clip...
I concur!!!
Wish we had storylines and acting like this today!
And Bobbie screwed that low life.
And now Laura's the mayor.
Justus is a hell of a great lawyer
