Hi Phil, nice to see some more shed / workshop stuff. I’m away to try and build my workshop / shed 7x3m, and hopefully it will turn out as good as yours. Thanks

Good idea for space saving. I recently down graded from an over sized garage to a 12x16 shed. All studs and roof joists are exposed. Might have to give this a shot.

Thanks! It's great for using up off cuts of sheet material too.

Phill first off thank you, I'm about to take delivery of my new workshop 12x10ft as much as id love a 16ft like yours I just cant fit it down the side of the house lol, I found your channel from watching your insulation video then went and watched the shed build, which was amazing! very satisfying to watch, then watched the tips on preventing shed rot and from that video is where I owe you a thank you, I learnt a couple more little tricks to help me out so thanks for that as it could of been to late if id already erected the workshop, so from your advice I've ordered some geotex membrane for the ground as it will be sitting on a plastic shed base filled with gravel then ill use the other half of the membrane to put on top of the shed base before the shed floor to help keep that base dry (as I've been paranoid about that from day 1 of parting my money), also ordered a couple sets of guttering kits.
Keep up the good videos mate you got another subscriber here, ill defiantly be learning a thing or two more from you and once the workshops up ill be trying out some of the things you have made using old wood.
By the way what happened to the solar light on the shed from the original build you said you recommended one then once the shelter was over the door its gone? Was that due to not being needed or was the longevity not that great after living with it for a bit?

Thanks you very much for the support Ricky! Much appreciated. Its always good to be cautious when building something like a shed because its much easier to get it rite when building rather than trying to go back after its built and modify it. Your idea sounds spot on. I'm glad you are finding my videos useful it keeps me motivated to make more!
With the Solar light.....the simple answer is that I took it down to add some metal fascia and since haven't got around to putting it back up. I will get round to it though at some point.

Haha I liked it for a while and a few people did say it's like a Spaceship but the novelty has worn off especially since I now have some free scrap wood to put on the walls😄
