The 2012 version is the rite of passage into become heroes of legend, champions of justice, POWER RANGERS! Personally, I'm leaning towards '94. The metamorphosis from teenagers to true heroes seems more natural to me. The '12 is good, but it's overdoing it.

Your music is amazing. You're one of the reasons why I watched Power Rangers as a kid. It got you pumped and ready to see the rangers kick evil's ass and look good doing it in there ranger suits and learn the power of friendship and politeness and good trumps over evil any day of the week. One thing I have to ask will you make a guitar book with tabs and chords of your Power Rangers music so people can learn how to play it themselves cause if you did I would buy it cause I am learning guitar myself. The '94 version is nostalgic, but the Redux is amazing. The vocals and guitar work are huge improvements over the original. A part of me prefers the near-end guitar solo of the '94 version, but overall I prefer the Redux by a longshot. Mr. Wasserman, thank you for this song that was a huge part of my childhood - and thanks again for morphing it into something even better :D

really easy to do actually. most mid level video editing programs allow multiple audio tracks, and to pan L-R individually. only problem is, it has to be the same tempo, for the whole song, with no extra bars put in, otherwise it gets out of sync, and is a headache for anyone who listens.
12 has better instrumentation, better sound quality and is heavier by comparison, but 94 has more nostalgic value for those who grew up with the show. Either way, both renditions embody the spirit of the show, fast paced, action packed, uplifting and overall just epic. Something for you to go, “Yeah, you go, Power Rangers! Get that traffic light turtle!”

The style of the Power Rangers Music made way more sense to me once I realised the links between DIC & Saban and all the catchy Cartoon Title tunes that came from that stable. as The Power Rangers theme is very much in the same style as those catchy 80's Cartoon intros (and a few 90's ones too I guess)

Amazing song, personally I prefer the one in the actual show opening where you can hear the lead guitar in a high pitched manner whereas in the long version it is a little toned down. Still, great anthem.

I've got the Redux album. Overall it's great, but several songs were not on it, which is sad. And I guess the album was not only a tribute to the Mighty Morphin' seasons, because some were from the Turbo movie, and I can't remember what season Cross My Line was in, but it was not in the Mighty Morphin' seasons. One of my favorites is Combat.
94" I grew up listening to that shit day in and out and will always forever be a fan till death. But for the 12" holy shit I be in the gym going beast mode in there so I will love them both so draw for me.
What I find interesting is that many people seem to not know that Shuki Levy had a big hand in making the music from back in 1993 as well. I think the feeling was different and better back in 93, compared to now. What is great about the 2012 version is it sounds updated. Though for nostalgia's sake I enjoy the old version's sound more. Shuki Levy used that same sound on many different shows. Just go back and listen to the original US version of DBZ, X-men, VR Troopers, and Eagle Riders...and maybe he also used it in Digimon...I can't remember anymore.

The style of the Power Rangers Music made way more sense to me once I realised the links between DIC & Saban and all the catchy Cartoon Title tunes that came from that stable. as The Power Rangers theme is very much in the same style as those catchy 80's Cartoon intros (and a few 90's ones too I guess)

Amazing song, personally I prefer the one in the actual show opening where you can hear the lead guitar in a high pitched manner whereas in the long version it is a little toned down. Still, great anthem.

I've got the Redux album. Overall it's great, but several songs were not on it, which is sad. And I guess the album was not only a tribute to the Mighty Morphin' seasons, because some were from the Turbo movie, and I can't remember what season Cross My Line was in, but it was not in the Mighty Morphin' seasons. One of my favorites is Combat.
94" I grew up listening to that shit day in and out and will always forever be a fan till death. But for the 12" holy shit I be in the gym going beast mode in there so I will love them both so draw for me.

What I find interesting is that many people seem to not know that Shuki Levy had a big hand in making the music from back in 1993 as well. I think the feeling was different and better back in 93, compared to now. What is great about the 2012 version is it sounds updated. Though for nostalgia's sake I enjoy the old version's sound more. Shuki Levy used that same sound on many different shows. Just go back and listen to the original US version of DBZ, X-men, VR Troopers, and Eagle Riders...and maybe he also used it in Digimon...I can't remember anymore.
Linkara noticed recycled music from MMPR used to Digimon. He attributed it to RAW writing for both.
