  • This episode is a conversation with Eshwar Segobind. Eshwar shares his unexpected and rapid spiritual awakening journey, which unfolded over less than a year without him being steeped in any religious or spiritual background. He relates pivotal moments during his stay at a recovery house that led to a shift in perspective and deep personal insights. Eshwar's story is one of spontaneous emergence of profound spiritual understanding and an intuitive grasp of nondual awareness.

Excellent interview. Great dialogue. I love how simple Eshwars approach is.

Damn, facts. what Eshwar said is very true. It's so easy to get caught up in the philosophy of these things, that one forgets about the methods. It's all about what leads to the direct experience, there is no need for a belief at that point

My brother just went into rehab a few days ago. This story has given me a lot of hope for what is possible in only 30 days. ❤

Thanks Guys- I loved hearing about Eshwar's outward focus on his children. It's so beautiful. I love being around a heart of service like that. Just hearing about it is contagious and inspiring. It's a natural outflow for him I know, no effort.

Thank you for this beautiful conversation between the two of you where you both explore and share step by step the awakening process. Your questions take Eshwar deeper and deeper into his awakening until you both reach the place of silence. There are so many excellent pointers and insights in this conversation that are supporting my process of awakening. Thank you both! ❤

Was having a burning question of how Eshwar’s relationship with his wife and kids changed after dissolving the false self.
Lovely podcast thank you Hareesh and eshwar!
Fortunate of eshwar to have ancestors in Guyana who sowed the seeds of spirituality and kept the traditions and rituals alive😊

The several comments I thought to write, all dissolved... I've returned to study/ contemplation of Kashmir Shaivism after roughly ten years - you were one of the first gems on the return! Decades ago, the first text that fell into my hands was the Paratrisika Vivarana. I've not come across you mentioning this text.

Well yeah, because it's all but incomprehensible to all but the most well-studied students of the Trika.

Love to see these different ‘worlds’ come together.
I’ve been listening to you both for a while now - you Christopher I came across through Michael Taft (the steeped in traditions but not afraid to talk about awakening as something right here - not a lofty concept only for the few - much love for this group) and Eshwar through Angelo Dillulo (the less steeped in tradition and just straight up contemporary non-dual pointing, guiding). Tbh, it took me a while to take that group seriously- just so RUclipsy- but the more a listened to say Angelo and Eshwar, along with non-dual Buddhist and ‘Hindu’ teachings, the more the fresh breeze of the sense of presence became noticeable, and the more little cracks in self seem to form - the cracks are very fine to be sure, but somehow undoubtable.
Something - can put a word on it and it has nothing to do with beliefs in the teachings - but something about the flavor of the traditional teachings just draw me to them - even though what’s being pointed at is the same.
