      It's like her knees are just glued to callie because they never move😂I'm so bad at keeping my leg still, deffo need to work on it especially since I'm getting a horse who is very responsive to legs in a few days😁

    This makes me feel so good! It's not that I'm against tack exactly, but to me tackless is true horsemanship. The horse isn't being made to do anything it doesn't want to do, and isn't being forced into unnatural positions and movement just to please humans.The rider isn't depending on metal and rope to get the horse to do what they want it to do, they are depending on the bond and mutual understanding. It's far more beautiful to me than fancy tack and unnatural steps and extensions. better than cartoonish arched necks and frothing around an uncomfortable bit. It's what the connection between human and horse should always be. It's what's right.

    I love this, just wondering, when I ride tackles my horse just bolts round and around.... how do I control her

    • @patriciafischer9382
      @patriciafischer9382 8 лет назад

      Before you start riding tackless, you should be able to ride your horse without using the reins. If this works, put a neckrope on but still keep the tack on. If you can control your horse without using the tack, you can try using the neckrope only. If you can't control your horse without the reins, improvement in your communication is needed, so a trainer would be a good solution. If there is no proper trainer to take lessons from, you could buy a book and try it this way, but I would rather take lessons than trying it myself if I was you :) I asked my dressage trainer if we could do some lessons with the neckrope and it went really well, so give it a go :)

    • @patriciafischer9382
      @patriciafischer9382 8 лет назад

      Oh and make sure that the neckrope is not too high as it can stop your horse from breathing and don't pull on it too strong as this could be hurting your horse :)
