I look at the glass as half full rather than half empty like other Broncos fans. I’m just glad there’s a chance to have a winning record for the first time since 2016. I’m of the opinion the Broncos should find a way to keep Russ. I’d rather keep going 9-8 than go back to the 10 loss cellar

Man, I can just imagine the emotions he was going through on the sideline. He had his helmet and cold weather jacket on all game long which means that he wanted to be warm, didn't really want to be bothered, and he thought that he may go into the game if Stidham screwed up or got hurt.
A man that has Ciara waiting for him when he gets home, can only cry tears of joy.
I find it hard to feel sorry for bad people like Wilson. Also, he makes more in one game than a normal person does in 30 years of sweating.

This has got to be the weirdest win I've ever felt. Yeah, we swept the Chargers, but too many things are crowding my mind...including elimination. Only 1 TD scored off of Lil'Jordan Humphrey playing like a boss, but that was kind of it for "the spark". There's too much talk about Russell Wilson, but all I'll say is I want him back for next year, and I wish he was never benched. Up to the last game of the season now, and while we're missing the playoffs for the 8th year in a row, we can still put it all out there and beat up the Raiders. Life goes on, and on, and on....Happy New Year! Go Broncos🧡💙

I wasn't impressed by this win either. Would it have been better with Wilson? Idk. We squeezed a win out of the Chargers, gonna be a tough game against the Raiders. Can't remember the last time we beat them and don't care to look it up, but it's been a long time.

But yes, let's blame the guy who went 26 TDs - 8 INTs in his first year in a new system instead of a bottom 5 defense that gave up 70 points at one time. You can ignore stats for a few games, but 15 games are a big enough sample size to show that Russ wasn't the main problem

This was an amazing year for Wilson. He played lights out and helped Denver almost make the playoffs. I am a Seattle fan and this was a great wake up call for him as he had to work hard to prove himself again and he certainly did. He is playing as good as he did when the Seahawks won the Super Bowl. We did have the best defense that year. But the only area of Wilsons game that has gotten worse is his scrambling ability and thats because at 35 he is just not quite as quick and agile as he was at 25. But it would be great if Denver gives him back to Seattle. We would need Denver to cover some of his salary though because he is not worth 50 million a year.
Except the Broncos needed to beat the Patriots last week. They didn't. They leave it to chance that the Bengals didn't choke their lead away to the Chiefs. Great, Broncos got the win here, but too little, too late. Oh well.
That Patriots loss was very costly. I'm still pissed about that game. To me, this win is bitter sweet. Bitter because we fell short of the playoffs regardless, but sweet because it's always nice getting a sweep of a division rival. Even though that division rival has been bad this year. You have to take the small wins when you can.

Exactly. Not a fan of Payton but Stidham didn’t cost 8 players and a huge contract. It was a cost benefit analysis. Who expected Stidham to play as well as Wilson that’s why he on 2 year 10 million contract which may or may not be guaranteed. If Wilson got injured and the Broncos had to pay 39 mil and another 37 mil on top and he weren’t available these same people would have said he should have been benched we out of playoffs.

I was excited to see what the Chargers were going to do this season, especially after the Kellen Moore addition. It's been a real letdown so far. Hopefully they come back better after a strong draft.

No, the Bears would be very smart to draft Harrison first overall to give Fields another weapon. Him and Moore would be the best 1-2 punch. I don’t think Caleb Williams is an NFL quarterback, I don’t think he read defenses.

Not injury, not results, not capabilities but an agreed upon contract between both parties.

Stidham ran straight into unnecessary sacks, did a lot of check downs, and got bailed out by Humphrey’s brilliant run after the catch. Nothing stellar and sparky here. Imagine how many games we would have won if Payton had just put the team first and called plays throughout the season like he did in the fourth quarter of the NE game.

Keep believing that about the only QB in six years to beat KC. RW has another SB in him. Stidham would need a major turnaround in consistent performances to come close to winning a championship. Nothing personal, it’s simply stupid to get rid of a capable QB. If we really didn’t want RW’s contract we never should have agreed to it. We are back in QB purgatory. I don’t know why some Broncos fans believe we will magically end up with a fantastic QB. You can’t argue facts. RW has top ten stats and he is going to the HOF whether some fans like it or not.
