This fits so well that I wish it explored even more. Not to say, that it is not great by itself. (I really like this one!) What I mean is, that I am somehow reminded of Sylvalum night version as example. It has that distinct percussion, mixed with more modern elements to create a unique mood. I feel you achieved something similiar with this. Thanks!

Thank you for the kind words! Yes, I really like how the original song has these modern touches. One of my favorite tracks of FF10 for sure.
It's amazing how people still find my old cover songs. Although it's making me uncomfortable listen to these poor mixed and written cover songs again. I need to redo some of these old songs with my current knowledge and abilities.

I mean honestly. The original track is such an astounding atmosphere of positive energy. That's obviously not what you value though. Clearly a depressing sounding shakespear atmosphere is much more in line with your interests.

Tbh when this song played in the game it was NOT happy or uplifting.
It played when they were going through the ruins of Zanarkand and when Jecht was dying. Not happy times.

i can't stand when amateur musicians remake another composers work and don't pay proper homage to the original song, just changing the sound completely to their own ends
or is it because you simply lack the skill to remake the track while still capturing the same atmosphere and putting your own touch on it at the same time
