That flip around the 6 minute mark was epic! 😁 That surfce looks pretty rough, probably why it flips relatively easy, so a smoother surface will probably be safer. I can get one for a bit over 70 pounds, only FM and a brushed Titan 12T with a spare Trinity motor, but I have an HPI ESC/Motor combo lying around which is also 4000kV, as well as an HPI TX, so I`ll shove that in there and hope for the best 😂
Hi Paul, awesome run of that great looking VW Beetle on the M06 chassis, and that 4000kV motor, wow, that really pushes that chassis along. Shame about the slight body damages and the rear bumper, still, in Paul’s hands, I’m sure that you’ll have it looking beautiful again. Take care keep well, all the best and a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year. 😉😊😉
Lovely drift @ 5:15! I wouldn't consider this body to be knackered, myself - these cars are so fast that, even with your posh shocks, they're going to take a tumble every few minutes unless you nurse aid them. I'd probably use clear sticky tape to patch up that front wing, remove the rear bumper and just drive it till the shell's in tatters, myself. Maybe do another body for it to wear at home. That tarmac's got some really coarse aggregate in it - I bet the tyres are only really riding on the tops of the little stones, and never touching the tar at all.
Very true in a lot of ways. Will use body again. I just want one as an ornament to keep sweet. Will do it red again and maybe back it with a darker color to get a deeper red. Just like the one in the previous photo.
@@barrysrcdump3557 This was the same style my Dad had when we lived in South Africa as a child. Bit gutted the body only lasted one run as they are pretty hard to get hold of, The M04 Beetle stickers I used on this build I can not find anywhere.
Exactly what I needed to know.. How does an M06 run on damp, leafy tarmac.!! Answer... Better than I thought it would.!! What system did you have in it btw.? Stay safe out there mate & best wishes from Scotland 🏴 🙏 ❤️ 📻 🕹️ 🔋 🚗 🚖 🚕 🚔 🚚 🚙 🚘 🚓 🚒 🚑 🚐 🚎 🚤 🚁 🛩️

👍 Nice Keith, yerhhh I seen you gifts from him, congrats, he sure gets around👍
Good stuff... almost a bit too much motor, but that makes it more fun...then you gotta slow it down with the trigger fender...
for sure too much, but your right, that's what makes it fun LOL.
very nice
Cheers.
Wow that’s one quick little bug ya got there , much faster than the real thing 😁 shame it got damaged 🥺
I know but I'm turning it into a mk2 escort next. I will get another Beetle M06 for the shelf. Merry Xmas Claire. X
@@FullOnRC deffo worth a space on the shelf 🤛
Merry Christmas to you as well 🎄🤶💋
That's great. I've just started building mine. I'll probably put the grippy tyres on front, so oversteers rather than understeers.
Drift Bug! 😂
Sounds like a good plan Barry, I may do the same. Needs a new body after this run though, thinking MkII Escort in red.
@@FullOnRC
I'm doing mine in orange. I used to have a cal-looker, so I'm making a replica.

Your car is so fast i like it...what motor is inside it?
Hobbywing ezrun max 10 esc and 4000kv motor. Bit too fast if I'm honest lol.
Is it still drivable in the rain.??
Standard silvercan? Looks pretty snappy.
No Mate. Max 10 4000KV motor on 2s. There is a build video on the channel if you want to check it out. Thanks for tuning in.
@@FullOnRC sorry man I didn't read the info!

Thanks, I put a Hobbywing Max10 and 4000kv motor in mine. TBH I think it is too much power for this platform.
Is that the stock motor cuz that's what I would leave in it?
No mate, it's a Hobbywing 4000 KV brushless motor.
Just picked one up for $120 USD on Amazon.
Awesome. Have fun.
Is it my imagination or is the ground a little wet?
Yep it was a little damp.
It's a Lil ripper
Yerhhh a bit too much power, That dome bodyshell is just like a parachute once wind gets under it.
