    The world is a strange place, you see these scam tiktokers getting millions of subscribers and lying to their subscribers, while this channel is a gem and has less than 1k. Definitely subscribed, thank you for the knowledge Sir.

    One of the best videos on this topic. The only thing I can't find anywhere is the difference between scheduled vs non scheduled purchases/sells

    Thanks, this is a great video. Can you do a video on identifying blockbuster sustainable earnings releases with high operating leverage, and easy upcoming “comps”?
    I hear this is a strong buy signal for stocks, but not sure how to identify stocks with those features.

    Im a ceo and have a board. Directors know the big overall numbers of the business. They probably know more if that ceo is a good communicator. But they are normally not going to be at the front of the line on trends. I meet once a year with my directors, but they receive financials and company updates weekly

    I notice at 21:50 in the video you also have the stock price chart in Open Insider. Is it possible to view that stock price from Open Insider or did you bring that price chart from somewhere else?

    • @Cabbycabbage
      @Cabbycabbage 3 года назад

      I found the same John I would have thought that the site has changed its format as this vid was made 4-5 years ago. Hovering over the ticker symbol does temporarily bring up a chart. I am sure you have probably discovered that though.. Really pleased to have found this series. Take care.

      Yes, insiders are a decent screening device, but one still has to use ones own judgment. Also the world can change in ways that even the CEO didn't expect

    For sales, what does the red and yellow color mean?

    • @tarik7111
      @tarik7111 3 года назад

      Yellow is when the sale is associated with the insider exercising employee stock options to buy shares and then selling them in the market.

    Thanks for these. I went straight to vid #3 as I'm trying to make sense of the TiCC mess as well ... my own uneducated theory is management is protecting their holdings in case they lose the vote. Your take?
    Q: Why not just use EDGAR, cool tool, this, but it seems to add an unnecessary layer? JMOHO ...

    • @minimba6988
      @minimba6988  8 лет назад +1

      I use edgar too. I haven't followed TICC. I see a lot of buying by insiders. However, I'd have to better understand the investment skill of the managers before investing. I think understanding a simple business may be easier than judging someone else's investment skill.

    What is a return?

    • @minimba6988
      @minimba6988  3 года назад

      A return is the income you earn over a period of time, say a year, and the price change in the security.
